Camera (See Fig. - )
Place the camera at least 0.9 m (3 feet) away from
your child.
1 Connect the supplied AC adaptor to the DC IN
5 V jack and plug it into a wall outlet.

Fasten the AC adaptor cord to the wall with the
supplied cord clips.
3 Adjust the camera angle so that it faces your
child.
Notes
ˎ The camera clicks when it is turned to the maximum angle. Do
not try to turn it any further.
ˎ Do not place the camera or the AC adaptor cord within reach of
children.
ˎ Do not place the camera or the AC adaptor cord in, or attach it
to, a crib or playpen.
ˎ Never use extension cords with the AC adaptors. Use only the
AC adaptors provided.
ˎ Make sure that the camera is not covered or obstructed in
shooting images or picking up sounds.
ˎ Make sure that nothing touches the antenna during operation.
Mounting the camera on a wall
(See Fig. - )

Referring to the template at the bottom left
corner of this sheet, make 2 holes in the wall.
Use the anchors supplied, if necessary.

Screw the screws into the wall.
Be sure the screws protrude between 2.5 mm and
3 mm (1/8 in.) from the surface of the wall or
anchor.

Mount the camera on the screws.
4 Hold the camera and adjust the camera angle.
CAUTION
ˎ The camera clicks when it is turned to the maximum angle. Do
not try to turn it any further.
ˎ When mounting the camera on a wall, use the screws supplied
or other screws suitable to the wall material or strength.
Attaching screws may damage the wall. Attach the screws
firmly to a pillar or a stud in a wall, if possible.
ˎ Connect the AC adaptor cord to the camera, mount the camera
on the wall, then connect the AC adaptor to a wall outlet.
ˎ Sony is not responsible for accidents or damage caused by
improper installation, insufficient wall strength or improper
screw installation, natural calamity, etc.
ˎ Fasten the screws securely so that the camera does not fall off
the wall.
Receiver (See Fig. - )

Connect the supplied AC adaptor to the DC IN
5 V jack and plug it into a wall outlet.
2 Open the stand, and adjust the receiver angle.
Notes
ˎ Do not operate the receiver with wet hands.
ˎ Make sure that nothing touches the antenna during operation.
ˎ Place the receiver on a stable surface. If the receiver is placed
on an unstable surface or in an inclined position, it may fall or
topple over, and may cause injury.
ˎ Adjust the receiver angle until it is stable. If you incline the
receiver too much, the it may topple over.
Carrying the receiver
When you carry the receiver by hanging it on your
neck or attaching it to your belt, the receiver
operates on the built-in battery. The battery indicator
on the display will show the remaining battery
power.

Note
ˎ If you attach the receiver to your belt using the belt clip, handle
it carefully to avoid dropping it.

ˎ No strap is supplied.
Built-in battery
When the receiver is connected to the AC adaptor
and the built-in battery has discharged to a certain
level, the built-in battery starts charging
automatically and is charged up to full charge.
Battery life
It will last about 5 hours after it has been fully
charged. (When operated with the screen kept on,
medium volume level, and Voice Activation off)
Charging duration
About 4 hours 30 minutes are required to charge the
empty battery to its full capacity, in an ambient
temperature of 25 °C (77 °F). Charging may take
longer, depending on whether or not the receiver is
turned on and other ambient conditions.
Checking the remaining battery power
The remaining battery power is displayed at the top
right of the display.
High Low
When the battery power is getting low, a beep
sounds.
Notes
ˎ If you consume the battery power completely and leave it like
that, the battery life may be affected. Charge the battery by
connecting it to the AC adaptor as soon as it has been used up.
ˎ Even if you do not intend to use the receiver for a long period,
charge the battery to its full capacity once every 6 months to
maintain its performance.
Setting up
Turning on the power
(See Fig. - )
1 Press and hold the  (power) button of the
camera until the power indicator light turns
green.
2 Press and hold down the  (power) button of
the receiver until the power indicator light turns
green.
You will see the image from the camera on the
display, and hear sound from the speaker.
Tips
ˎ According to the level of sound detected by the microphone of
the camera, more sound indicator lights (up to 4 lights) turn on
in red.
ˎ The signal level icon appears at the top left of the screen and
shows the strength of radio signal.

The receiver sounds an alarm when it is moved out
of the transmission range.
Turning off the power
Press and hold the  (power) button until the
power indicator light turns off.
Setting the temperature alarm
(See Fig. - )
You can set the lowest and highest allowable limits
for the temperature of the place where the camera is
installed. The alarm sounds if the temperature goes
beyond this range.
Note
ˎ If you do not attempt to change settings for a certain time, the
display returns to the normal screen.
1 Press MENU.
2 Select [ ] on the display with the / buttons
and press ENTER.
3 Select an option with the / buttons.
Select the temperature unit (°F or °C) before
setting the temperature.
ˎ The lowest allowable temperature (blue numbers
on the left)
ˎ The highest allowable temperature (red numbers at
the center)
ˎ Temperature unit °F or °C (white character on the
right)

Set each option with the / buttons.
5 When you have set all options, press ENTER.

Press MENU.
Tip
ˎ The temperature range that can be set is between 32 °F and
104 °F (0 °C and 40 °C).
Note
ˎ The receiver sounds the warning alarm if the temperature
reaches the one you set on the receiver, however, there might
be a discrepancy between that the temperature and the actual
temperature of the place where the camera was installed. Set
the temperature range with a slight margin.
Customizing the Video
Nursery Monitor
Adjusting the volume
Press the VOL+ button to turn up or the VOL– button
to turn down the speaker volume of the receiver.
No sound Loud
Note
ˎ If you do not attempt to change settings for a certain time, the
display returns to the normal screen.
Adjusting the brightness
Press the + button to make the display brighter or
the – button to make it darker.
Using the Voice Activation
function
The Voice Activation function turns off the speaker
when the receiver does not detect any sound above
a certain level.
Set the VOICE ACT switch to ON. The [
] indicator
appears at the top of the display. (See Fig, - )
Using the menu function
Note
ˎ If you do not attempt to change settings for a certain time, the
display returns to the normal screen.
Zooming in/out (See Fig. - )
You can zoom in (2× digital zoom) or out the image.

3 Select zoom-in or zoom-out with the /

Turning off the display automatically
(See Fig. - )
The display will turn off automatically when the
duration you set (1, 3, 5 minutes) has passed without
any operation attempted. Select [ON] if you do not
want the display to turn off.

3 Select the desired time with the / buttons.

Tips
ˎ When the display is off, you can turn it on by pressing any
button on the receiver, except the  (power) button.
ˎ When the Voice Activation function is on and the receiver
detects a sound above a certain level, the display turns on
automatically, and the speaker is activated.
Rotating the image (See Fig. - )
Depending on where you place the camera and
receiver, rotate the image appropriately by
180 degrees.
1 Press MENU.

Select [ ] on the display with the / buttons
and press ENTER.
3 Select 0° or 180° rotation of the image with the
/ buttons.
4 Press ENTER.
5 Press MENU.

Placez la caméra à 0,9 m (3 pieds) au moins de votre
enfant.
1 Connectez l’adaptateur secteur fourni à la prise
DC IN 5 V et branchez-la dans la prise murale.

Fixez le cordon de l’adaptateur secteur au mur à
l’aide des clips pour câble fournis.
3 Réglez l’angle de la caméra de sorte qu’elle se
trouve face à votre enfant.
Remarques
ˎ La caméra émet un déclic lorsqu’elle est pivotée selon l’angle
maximum. N’essayez pas de la tourner davantage.
ˎ Ne placez pas la caméra ou le cordon de l’adaptateur secteur à
portée des enfants.
ˎ Ne placez pas la caméra ou le cordon de l’adaptateur secteur
dans un berceau ou un parc et ne l’attachez pas à un berceau
ou un parc.
ˎ N’utilisez jamais de rallonges avec les adaptateurs secteur.
Utilisez uniquement les adaptateurs secteur fournis.
ˎ Assurez-vous que la caméra n’est pas recouverte ou masquée
par un obstacle lors de la prise d’images ou la capture de sons.
ˎ Assurez-vous qu’aucun objet ne touche l’antenne pendant le
fonctionnement.
Montage de la caméra sur un mur
(voir la Fig. - )
1 À l’aide du modèle situé dans l’angle inférieur
gauche de ce document, percez 2 trous dans le
mur.
Au besoin, utilisez les fixations fournies.
2 Vissez les vis dans le mur.
Assurez-vous que les vis dépassent d’environ
2,5 mm à 3 mm (1/8 po.) de la surface du mur ou
fixation.
3 Installez la caméra sur les vis.
4 Tenez la caméra et réglez l’angle de celle-ci.
AVERTISSEMENT
ˎ La caméra émet un déclic lorsqu’elle est pivotée selon l’angle
maximum. N’essayez pas de la tourner davantage.
ˎ Lors de l’installation de la caméra sur un mur, utilisez les vis
fournies ou d’autres vis adaptées au support ou à la solidité du
mur. La fixation de vis peut endommager le mur. Dans la
mesure du possible, fixez solidement les vis à un pilier ou un
montant du mur.
ˎ Raccordez le cordon de l’adaptateur secteur à la caméra, fixez
la caméra au mur, puis branchez l’adaptateur secteur à une
prise murale.
ˎ Sony n’est pas responsable des accidents ou dommages dus à
une installation incorrecte, à un mur peu solide ou à une
mauvaise installation des vis, à une catastrophe naturelle, etc.
ˎ Fixez solidement les vis afin que la caméra ne tombe pas du
mur.
Récepteur (voir la Fig. - )
1 Connectez l’adaptateur secteur fourni à la prise
DC IN 5 V et branchez-la dans la prise murale.

Ouvrez le support et réglez l’angle du récepteur.
Remarques
ˎ N’utilisez pas le récepteur si vos mains sont mouillées.
ˎ Assurez-vous qu’aucun objet ne touche l’antenne pendant le
fonctionnement.
ˎ Placez le récepteur sur une surface stable. Si vous placez le
récepteur sur une surface instable ou en position inclinée, il
risque de tomber ou de basculer et de vous blesser.
ˎ Réglez l’angle du récepteur jusqu’à ce qu’il soit stable. Si vous
inclinez trop le récepteur, il risque de basculer.
Transport du récepteur
Lorsque vous transportez le récepteur en le
suspendant à votre cou ou en l’attachant à votre
ceinture, il fonctionne sur la batterie intégrée. Le
voyant de la batterie sur l’afficheur indique
l’autonomie restante de la batterie.
Fixation du récepteur à votre ceinture
(voir la Fig. - )
Remarque
ˎ Si vous attachez le récepteur à votre ceinture à l’aide de
l’attache de ceinture, manipulez-le avec précaution pour éviter
de le laisser tomber.

chargement peut durer plus longtemps selon que le
récepteur est ou non allumé et en fonction d’autres
conditions ambiantes.
Vérification de l’autonomie restante de
la batterie
L’autonomie restante de la batterie s’affiche en haut
à droite de l’afficheur.
Élevé Faible
Lorsque l’autonomie de la batterie devient faible, un
bip retentit.
Remarques
ˎ Si la batterie est complètement épuisée et si vous ne la
rechargez pas, sa durée de vie risque d’être réduite. Chargez la
batterie en la branchant dans l’adaptateur secteur dès qu’elle
est épuisée.
ˎ Même si vous ne prévoyez pas d’utiliser le récepteur pendant
une longue période, chargez entièrement la batterie tous les
6 mois afin de préserver ses performances.
Configuration
Mise sous tension
(voir la Fig. - )
1 Appuyez sur la touche  (alimentation) de la
caméra et maintenez-la enfoncée jusqu’à ce que
le voyant d’alimentation vert s’allume.
2 Appuyez sur la touche  (alimentation) du
récepteur jusqu’à ce que le voyant
d’alimentation vert s’allume.
Vous voyez alors l’image de caméra sur l’afficheur
et entendez le son depuis l’enceinte.
Conseils
ˎ Selon le niveau sonore détecté par le microphone de la
caméra, d’autres voyants de détection du son rouges (jusqu’à
4 voyants) correspondant au son s’allument.
ˎ L’icône correspondant au niveau du signal apparaît en haut à
gauche de l’écran et indique la puissance du signal radio.

Le récepteur émet une alarme lorsqu’il quitte la
plage de transmission.
Mise hors tension
Appuyez sur la touche  (alimentation) et
maintenez-la enfoncée jusqu’à ce que le voyant
d’alimentation s’éteigne.
Réglage de l’alarme de
température (voir la Fig. - )
Vous pouvez définir les limites minimales et
maximales autorisées pour la température du lieu
où est installée la caméra. L’alarme retentit si la
température dépasse cette plage.

certain temps, l’écran normal réapparaît sur l’afficheur.

Conseil
ˎ La plage de température peut être définie entre 32 °F et 104 °F
(0 °C et 40 °C).
Remarque
ˎ Le récepteur fait retentir l’alarme d’avertissement si la
température atteint celle que vous avez définie sur le
récepteur. Cependant, il peut y avoir une différence entre la
température et la température réelle du lieu où était installée la
caméra. Définissez la plage de température avec une légère
marge.
Personnalisation du
moniteur vidéo de bébé
Réglage du volume
Appuyez sur la touche VOL+ pour augmenter le
volume de l’enceinte du récepteur et sur la touche
VOL- pour le diminuer.
Aucun son Fort
Remarque
ˎ Si vous n’essayez pas de modifier les réglages pendant un
certain temps, l’écran normal réapparaît sur l’afficheur.
Réglage de la luminosité
Appuyez sur la touche + pour que l’afficheur
devienne plus lumineux ou sur la touche – pour
qu’il devienne plus sombre.
Utilisation de la fonction
d’activation vocale
La fonction d’activation vocale éteint l’enceinte
lorsque le récepteur ne détecte pas de son au-
dessus d’un certain niveau.
Réglez le commutateur VOICE ACT sur ON. Le voyant
[
] apparaît en haut de l’afficheur.

numérique 2x) ou un zoom arrière de l’image.

Désactivation automatique de
l’afficheur (voir la Fig. - )
L’afficheur est désactivé automatiquement lorsque
la durée que vous avez définie (1, 3, 5 minutes) s’est
écoulée sans que vous n’ayez essayé d’effectuer une
opération. Sélectionnez [ON] si vous ne souhaitez
pas que l’afficheur soit désactivé.
1 Appuyez sur MENU.
2 Sélectionnez [ ] sur l’afficheur avec les touches
/ et appuyez sur ENTER.
3 Sélectionnez l’heure souhaitée avec les touches
/ .
4 Appuyez sur ENTER.

Conseils
ˎ Lorsque l’afficheur est désactivé, vous pouvez l’activer en
appuyant sur n’importe quelle touche du récepteur, sauf sur la
touche
 (alimentation).
ˎ Lorsque la fonction d’activation vocale est activée et que le
récepteur détecte un son au-dessus d’un certain niveau,
l’afficheur est activé automatiquement et l’enceinte est activée.

Selon l’endroit où vous placez la caméra et le
récepteur, faites pivoter correctement l’image à
180°degrés.
