Installation Instructions
Mounting
Your CO alarm comes with two
mounting options. It can be wall
mounted (See figure 1) or used
as a tabletop unit (See figure 2).
For tabletop use simply fold out
the stand located on the back of
the unit and place in a location
where the unit is easily visible.
For wall mounting, three screws
have been supplied
Where To Install Your
Atwood CO Alarm
The following suggestions are intended to help you with the
placement and installation of your Atwood CO Alarm.
•
When wall mounting, place out of the reach of children.
Under no circumstance should children be allowed to
handle the CO alarm.
•
Install in a sleeping area.
•
Placing at eye level allows for optimum monitoring of
the digital display
•
Insure that all vents of the unit are unobstructed.
•
For tabletop mounting we recommend the unit be
placed no more than three feet from the floor.
•
If used in RV, permenently mount to wall. DO NOT
use table top feature.

Assemblage
Votre alarme vient avec deux options d’assem-
blage. Il peut être installé sur un mur (voir fig-
ure 1) ou être utilisé comme unité de table
(voir figure 2). Pour l’unité de table, il n’y a
qu’à déplier la tablette située au dos de l’unité
et placer l’unité dans un endroit où il peut
facilement accessible. Pour l’installation sur le
mur, deux vis et des chevilles murales ont été
fournies (voir page 30 pour le schéma de
montage au mur).
Où installer votre alarme de
monoxyde de carbone Atwood
Les suggestions suivantes ont été conçues pour vous aider à choisir un
emplacement et pour installer votre alarme de monoxyde de carbone Atwood.
•
Pour l’installation au mur, mettez-le hors de portée desenfants. Les
enfants ne devraient en aucun cas avoir la permission de manipuler
l’alarme.
•
Installez-le dans une chambre à coucher ou dans un couloir desser
vant
des chambres à coucher. Assurez-vous que l’alarme peut être entendu
dans les chambres à coucher.
•
Installez-le à au moins (5 mètres de tout appareil brûlant du) com-
bustible.
•
En le mettant au niveau des yeux, vous avez la meilleure position pour
vérifier l’écran digital.
•
Assurez-vous que tous les orifices de l’unité ne sont pas obstrués.
•
Pour les unités de table, nous recommandons que les unités ne soient
pas placées à plus de (1 mètre) du sol.
