ACCESS TO DRIVER AND THERMAL PROTECTOR
!
WARNING! LET FIXTURE COOL TO TOUCH BEFORE
PROCEEDING. TOUCHING WHILE HOT MAY CAUSE
INJURY!
1. Grip trim flange and pull down to remove from housing.
(See Figure 6)
2. Remove (3) trim retention clips by gripping clip at the bend and
pull down, disengaging clip from slot. (See Figure 7)

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY, EDGES OF CLIPS ARE
SHARP!
3. Disengage dome retention clip with flat head screwdriver.
(See Figure 8)
4. Reach inside dome placing fingers on top of heat sink and
thumb on bottom, push up. (See Figure 9)
5. Place dome assembly to the side allowing access to junction
box.
6. Reinstall dome assembly to mounting frame by aligning
retention clips with slots in mounting frame. Assure clips are
securely fastened to frame.
7. Replace trim retention clips in lower slots assuring clips are
secure to frame.

TO FRAME THEY MAY DISENGAGE CAUSING THE TRIM
TO FALL!
8. Reinstall trim.
REPLACING DOME ASSEMBLY
1. Grip trim flange and pull down to remove from housing.
(See Figure 6)
2. Remove (3) trim retention clips by gripping clip at the bend and
pull down, disengaging clip from slot. (See Figure 7)

3. Disengage dome assembly retention clip with flat head
screwdriver. (See Figure 8)
4. Reach inside dome placing fingers on top of heat sink and
thumb on bottom, push up. (See Figure 9)
5. Pull dome assembly through aperture. (See Figure 10)
6. Remove junction box from dome assembly with ¼” nut driver.
(See Figure 11)
7. Unplug connections between dome assembly and driver.
8. Connect new dome assembly.
9. Reinstall dome assembly to mounting frame by inserting it
through aperture and aligning retention clips with slots in
mounting frame. Assure clips are securely fastened to frame.
10. Replace trim retention clips in lower slots assuring clips are
secure to frame.

SECURE TO FRAME THEY MAY DISENGAGE CAUSING
THE TRIM TO FALL!
11. Reinstall trim.

FEED WIRE CONNECTION TO FIXTURE JUNCTION BOX (See Figure 5)
Junction box is approved for through wiring with eight No. 12 AWG conductors (4in/4out)
rated 90°C or higher.
1. Remove junction box cover by releasing spring clip and allowing cover to hinge open.
2. Select knockout, remove, and install appropriate connector.
3. Install feed wire in accordance with and/or local electrical codes.
4. Complete wiring.
5. Reinstall junction box cover.
