SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available
and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used, (1)
the marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be
at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance, and (2) the
cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop
or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over
unintentionally.
GROUNDED 3-CONDUCTOR PLUG OR CONSUMER
SAFETY INFORMATION
This appliance is equipped with a grounded-type 3-wire cord (3-prong
plug). This plug will only fit into an electrical outlet made for a 3-prong
plug. This is a safety feature. If the plug should fail to fit the outlet, con-
tact an electrician to replace the obsolete outlet. Do not attempt to
defeat this safety feature.
Since the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should
be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.
ELECTRIC POWER
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appli-
ance may not operate properly. It should be operated on a separate
electrical circuit from other appliances.
PLASTICIZER WARNING
CAUTION: To prevent Plasticizers from migrating from the finish of the
countertop or tabletop or other furniture, place NON-PLASTIC coast-
ers or placemats between the appliance and the finish of the countertop
or tabletop.
Failure to do so may cause the finish to darken, permanent
blemishes may occur or stains can appear.

FICHE À TROIS LAMES AVEC MISE À LA TERRE
POUR LA SÉCURITÉ DU CONSOMMATEUR
Par mesure de sécurité, cet appareil est muni d’une fiche à trois lames
avec mise à la terre. Cette fiche ne peut être insérée que dans une prise
murale à trois orifices. Si la prise murale ne correspond pas à la fiche,
faire appel à un électricien pour faire remplacer la prise. Ne pas tenter
de contourner ce dispositif de sécurité.
Comme cet appareil est doté d’un dispositif de mise à la terre, toute
rallonge utilisée doit être également munie d’une fiche à trois lames
avec mise à la terre.
ALIMENTATIONÉLECTRIQUE
Si le circuit électrique est surchargé, l’appareil pourrait ne pas
fonctionner de façon adéquate. Il faut alors le brancher sur un autre
circuit électrique.

MISE EN GARDE :Pour protéger les plastifiants du plan de travail, de
la table ou de toute autre surface, placer un sous-plat ou un napperon
fait d’une matière AUTRE QUE LE PLASTIQUE entre l’appareil et la
surface de travail, faute de quoi le fini pourrait être noirci,
endommagé ou taché.
