UTILISATION DE L ’INTERRUPTEUR MARCHE/
ARRÊT / IMPULSION
Le bouton-poussoir situé de manière très commode au haut du socle de
l’appareil comporte l’interrupteur servant aux fonctions de mise en marche (ON),
d’arrêt (OFF) et de fonctionnement à impulsion ou intermittent de l’appareil
(PULSE). Voici une brève explication de ces trois fonctions :
MARCHE (ON)
Dès que l’utilisateur appuie sur l’interrupteur en position Marche, l’appareil
commence à fonctionner et ne s’arrête qu’une fois l’interrupteur mis en position
ARRÊT (OFF). Se servir de la fonction MARCHE pour les tâches plus exigeantes et
longues, comme la préparation de vinaigrettes ou de trempettes.
IMPULSION (PULSE)
L ’appareil se met en marche dès que l’utilisateur appuie sur l’interrupteur en
position ‘PULSE’, mais il s’arrête automatique dès ce bouton relâché. Cette
fonction est notamment commode pour les tâches de coupe de courte durée,
comme le déchiquetage grossier de légumes durs ou de noix. Avec le temps, la
plupart des utilisateurs constatent que la fonction IMPULSION (c.-à-d. le
fonctionnement intermittent de l’appareil) est celle utilisée le plus fréquemment,
car elle permet une meilleure maîtrise du traitement des aliments.
ARRÊT (OFF)
Pour arrêter l’appareil, placer l’interrupteur à la position centrale. L e tenir à cette
position pendant la préparation des aliments et lorsque l’appareil ne sert pas.

USING THE ON/OFF/PULSE SWITCH
The ON/OFF/PULSE Switch is conveniently located on the top of
the Mini Food Chopper. The three positions operate as follows:
ON
When the Switch is pressed to the ON position, the unit will begin
operation. It will continue to operate until the Switch is pressed to
the OFF position. Use the ON position for longer processing tasks,
such as making salad dressings or dips.
PULSE
When the Switch is pressed to the PULSE position and held, the
unit will begin to operate. When the PULSE position is released, the
operation will stop. Use this position for short processing tasks,
such as chopping vegetables or nuts. You will find that the PULSE
position is used more frequently, as it gives you greater control
over your food processing.
OFF
The OFF position is the middle position. Always leave the Switch in
the OFF position while you are preparing foods for processing and
when the unit is not in use.
