Example: To set the tempo to 168, hold down the METRONOME button and

press C#5 (1), then F#5 (6), and then G#5 (8).

If you attempt to enter a value below 40 or above 200, the piano ignores the
input and retains the previous tempo setting.

Setting the Meter

If you set a meter, the metronome will accent the first beat in each measure
by playing a distinct accent sound.

Now that you have selected the meter, the metronome will play an
accent sound at the first beat of each measure. If you wish to turn the
accent off (if you want all beats to sound the same), hold down the
METRONOME button and press the illuminated SOUND button (the
button you used to select the meter) so that the button goes dark.

When you hold down the METONOME button, the SOUND button
corresponding to the selected meter lights up.

When you turn the power off, the meter setting is lost and the metronome
returns to the unaccented mode.
