Le riz sent le
roussi.
De la vapeur d’eau
s’échapper du
Couvercle en acier
inoxydable et de la
Cuve durant la
cuisson.
Vérifier que rien ne se soit logé entre la cuve
et la plaque chauffante. Tout doit être
propre.
Bien nettoyer la cuve après chaque
utilisation.
Veiller à ne pas ajouter d’ingrédients qui
roussissent facilement, comme l’adjonction
de sucre à du riz.
Vérifier que des aliments, y compris du riz, ne
se soient pas logés entre le Couvercle en
acier inoxydable et la Cuve intérieure ; ceci
risque d’empêcher le Couvercle en acier
inoxydable de se fermer intégralement.
Veiller à ce que cet espace reste propre.
Le riz chaud sent
mauvais ou est
décoloré.
Pour des résultats optimums, ne pas utiliser le
mode de maintien au chaud ‘WARM’ pour
le riz brun. Le son des grains non raffinés
risque de s’effriter lorsque le riz est maintenu
à basse température pendant une période
de temps prolongée, ce qui entraîne une
mauvaise odeur tout en faisant prendre un
mauvais goût au riz.
Veiller à ce que le couvercle en verre soit
centré correctement sur la cuve en mode
de maintien au chaud ‘WARM’.
Veiller à bien laver la cuve après chaque
utilisation.
Veiller à ne pas laisser la spatule à riz ou tout
autre ustensile en plastique dans le cuiseur
automatique lorsqu’il fonctionne ou
réchauffe les aliments.

14. Do not leave the plastic Rice Paddle or Rice Measuring Cup
in the Inner Pot while the Rice Cooker is in use.
15. Lift off Lid carefully to avoid scalding, and allow water to drip
into Rice Cooker.
16. To reduce the risk of electric shock, cook only in the Inner Pot.
Do not pour liquid directly into the Heating Body.
17. Do not use while standing in a damp area.
POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to
fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully
in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in
any way.
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting
from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are
available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is
used, (1) the marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension
cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the
appliance, and (2) the longer cord should be arranged so that it
will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be
pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
ELECTRIC POWER
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your
appliance may not operate properly. It should be operated on a
separate electrical circuit from other appliances.
