thedrainhose.Placethehoseinalaundrytubor
standpipeandsecureitwiththecabletieprovided
intheenclosurepackage.
nOtE: Placingthedrainhosetoofardownthedrainpipe
cancauseasiphoningaction.Nomorethan7inches
ofhoseshouldbeinthedrainpipe.Theremustbean
airgaparoundthedrainhose.Asnugfitcanalsocause
asiphoningaction.
8. Plugthepowercordintoagroundedoutlet.
nOtE: Checktobesurethepowerisoffatthecircuit
breaker/fuseboxbeforepluggingthepowercordinto
anoutlet.
9. Turnonthepoweratthecircuitbreaker/fusebox.
10. ReadtherestofthisOwner’sManual.Itcontains
valuableandhelpfulinformationthatwillsaveyou
timeandmoney.
11. Before starting the washer, check to make sure:
o Mainpoweristurnedon.
o Thewasherispluggedin.
o Thewaterfaucetsareturnedon.
o Theunitislevelandallfourlevelinglegsarefirmly
onthefloor.
o Theshippingsupporthardwareisremoved
andsaved.
o Thedrainhoseisproperlytiedup.
o Therearenoleaksatthefaucet,drainline
orwasher.
12. Runthewasherthroughacompletecycle.
Checkforwaterleaksandproperoperation.
13. Ifyourwasherdoesnotoperate,pleasereview
theBefore You call For Service sectionbefore
callingforservice.
14. Placetheseinstructionsinalocationnearthewasher
forfuturereference.
