This television receiver has only an analog broadcast tuner and
will require a converter box after June 12, 2009*, to receive
over-the-air broadcasts with an antenna because of the Nation's
transition to digital broadcasting.
Analog-only TVs should continue to work as before with cable
and satellite TV services, gaming consoles, VCRs, DVD players,
and similar products.

Canadians using an analog television to receive over-the-air
broadcast signals from the United States will be affected.
American television stations broadcasting over-the-air into
Canada are expected to complete this change by June 12,
2009. Some stations have already made the switch to digital.
If you receive over-the-air broadcasts from the U.S. on an
analog television set, you will require a set-top converter box to
continue to receive your channels once the U.S. transition takes
place (expected to be completed by June 12, 2009). However,
you will continue to receive Canadian television stations.
