QUICK START GUIDE

before operating this appliance. The following is a guide to using your dryer. Please refer to specific sections of this
manual for more detailed information.
NOTE: The panel and features shown may be different from that of your model.
START
1. Clean the lint screen.
2. Place laundry in dryer. Shut the door.
3. Press POWER.
4. Select cycle.
5. Press and hold START for 3 seconds to begin.
OPTIONS and MODIFIERS
You can change Automatic Cycles,
Timed Cycles, Modifiers, and Options
anytime before pressing Start.
Damp Dry Signal - Select this option, with Automatic Dry
cycles, to alert you when clothes are nearly dry.
Wrinkle Prevent - Provides heat-free, periodic tumbling at the
end of a cycle.
Control Locked - You can lock your settings to avoid
unintended use of the dryer or option changes during
dryer operation.
To lock or unlock the controls:
Press and hold CYCLE SIGNAL for 3 seconds.
To make changes during dryer cycle:
Press STOP once.
Select the new OPTIONS and/or MODIFIERS.
Press and hold START to continue the cycle.
NOTE: If you happen to press Stop twice, the program clears
and your dryer shuts down. Restart the selection process.
TIMED CYCLES
Use Timed Cycles to set a drying time
and temperature.
Select a Timed Cycle.
Press MORE TIME or LESS TIME until desired drying time
is displayed.
Press TEMPERATURE until the desired temperature glows.
Press and hold START to begin.
TIMED DRY – Select this cycle to control time and
temperature.
QUICK DRY – Select this cycle to dry small loads
or loads requiring less drying time.
TOUCH UP – Select this cycle to help remove wrinkles
from clean, dry clothes.
AIR FLUFF – Select this cycle for items that require
drying without heat.
Automatic Cycles automatically match the cycle setting to the
type of load, and adjust drying time for optimal performance.
See the Cycle Settings chart in “Cycles” section.
1. Select an Automatic cycle.
2. Select the desired Option(s).
3. Press and hold START to begin.
To make changes during an Automatic cycle:
1. Press STOP.
2. Select DRYNESS LEVEL or Options.
3. Press and hold START to begin.
Press CYCLE SIGNAL to adjust the sound level or turn off
the signal
AUTOMATIC CYCLES
Stopping Your Dryer
To stop your dryer at any time
Press STOP twice or open the door.
Pausing or Restarting
To pause the dryer at any time
Press STOP once or open the door.
To restart the dryer
Close the door. Press and hold START until dryer starts.
NOTE: Drying will continue from where the cycle was
interrupted if you close the door and press START within
5 minutes. If the cycle is interrupted for more than 5 minutes,
dryer will shut off. Select new cycle settings before restarting
the dryer.
