Designed with the look and feel of Dad’s bow. The Elkhorn comes equipped with durable,
heavy weight composite limbs and an integrated composite center shot riser with large
sight window. The composite cam system is supported by heavy duty all weather strings
and cables complete with cable guard for superior shooting performance.

RULE WHEN SHOOTING THE YOUTH RECURVE
BOW SET.
1. Never aim or draw your bow while facing any
person or object you do not intend to shoot.
2. Never allow anyone to retrieve arrows in the
target until all arrows have been shot.
3. Never dry-fire your bow (firing without an arrow).
4. Be sure to inspect arrows periodically for
imperfection such as cracks, splits, or splinters.
If any damage is detected, the arrow must
be destroyed.
5. Always use an appropriate backdrop for maximum
safety. It must be constructed of a durable
material and must extend beyond the perimeter
of the target. The recommended backstop size
is subject to the accuracy and ability of the target
shooter. Subsequently the lower level of accuracy
a shooter possesses the larger the
perimeter requirement.
6. When shooting at the target always have full-view
of the path and beyond the target. Leadoff shots
should be taken at closer distances until the
archer is accurate and comfortable at
longer distances.

1. Ne jamais viser ni bander l’arc lorsqu’on fait face à une
personne ou à un objet sur lequel on n’a pas l’intention
de tirer.
2. Ne jamais laisser quiconque récupérer les flèches
plantées dans la cible jusqu’à ce que toutes les flèches
aient été tirées.
3. Ne jamais tirer l’arc à vide (tirer sans flèche).
4. S’assurer de vérifier périodiquement les flèches pour
détecter toute imperfection telle qu’une fissure, une fente
ou un éclat. Toute flèche endommagée doit être détruite.
5. Toujours utiliser un panneau de fond adéquat pour garantir
une sécurité maximale. Il doit être fabriqué de matériau
durable et sa superficie doit être supérieure au périmètre
de la cible. La taille recommandée du panneau
pare-flèches dépend de la précision et de l’habileté du
tireur. Par conséquent, moins le niveau de précision du
tireur est élevé, plus la taille du panneau pare-flèches doit
être grande.
6. En tirant sur la cible, s’assurer d’avoir une vue complètement
dégagée de la trajectoire menant à la cible et au-delà
de la cible. Les tirs initiaux devraient être effectués à une
courte distance de la cible jusqu’à ce que l’archer acquière
la précision et l’aisance nécessaires pour tirer à une distance
plus grande.
