Fuse Replacement
If the fuse blows, check the power connections
and replace the fuse. If the fuse blows again
after the replacement, there may be an internal
malfunction. In such a case, consult your
nearest Sony dealer.
Warning
Use the specified amperage fuse.
Use of a higher amperage fuse may cause
serious damage.
Cleaning the Connector
To Iceep the best possible sound quality, clean
the metallic part of the connector at the rear of
the main unit periodically using commercially
ava lable head cleaning fluid or alcohol and a
cotton swab.
Cleaning the Head and the Tape Path
Prolonged use may contaminate the tape head
and the tape path. Contamination may cause
sound drop-outs during playback.
Cletin the tape head and the tape path every
two weeks or so to enjoy optimum hi-fi stereo
sound.
Use a commercially available cleaning cassette.
