Operation
CAUTION: Never operate unit without bag in place.
Doing so may damage your unit.
To connect the power cord (18):
• Pull the cord out to the length desired. A yellow
band on the power cord indicates the limit of
extention. Do not pull the cord beyond that point.
• Connect the plug into wall outlet.
• To rewind the cord, remove plug from wall outlet.
While holding onto plug, push cordwinder foot
switch (19) and allow power cord to slowly retract
into the unit; do not allow the cord to whip
into cordwinder.
To start the cleaner:
• Gently press the on/off foot switch (20) on top of
the unit.
• To stop the machine, press the foot switch
again. Always switch the cleaner OFF before
disconnecting power cord.
Suction power controls:
• To start the unit, press the ON/OFF foot switch
(20). The unit will start in manual mode,
maximum power.
• To switch off the unit, press the ON/OFF
foot witch.
Manual Mode
• Adjust suction power up and down by pushing
the + or – button on canister (21).
• Adjust power as needed according to the cleaning
job.
– Use maximum power for vacuuming floors
and deep cleaning.
– Use medium power for vacuuming upholstery
or dusting.
– Use minimum power for delicate cleaning
such as drapery and antique rugs.
• The suction power level in use is shown by the
Power Setting icons on the System Indicator.
Automatic Mode
• To set to Automatic mode, push the Auto button on
canister (22).
• This automatically adjusts suction according to the
task you are performing.
• To exit Automatic Mode, press the + or - button.
Fonctionnement
ATTENTION : Ne jamais faire fonctionner l’appareil
sans sac. Cela pourrait endommager votre aspirateur.
Branchement du cordon
d’alimentation (18) :
• Sortir la longueur souhaitée de cordon. Une bande
jaune sur le cordon d’alimentation indique la limite
d’extension. Ne pas tirer sur le cordon au-delà
de ce point.
• Brancher la fiche dans la prise murale.
• Pour rembobiner le cordon, retirer la fiche de la
prise murale. Tout en tenant la fiche, appuyer sur
la bouton enrouleur de câble automatique (19)
et laisser le cordon d’alimentation se rétracter
lentement dans l’appareil ; ne pas laisser le cordon
se rembobiner brutalement.
Mise en marche de l’aspirateur :
• Appuyer doucement sur la bouton marche/arrêt
(20) sur le dessus de l’appareil.
• Pour arrêter l’aspirateur, appuyer à nouveau sur
le bouton. Toujours éteindre l’aspirateur avant de
débrancher le cordon d’alimentation.
Régulateur de succion :
• Pour mettre en marche, appuyer sur la pédale
marche/arrêt (20). L’appareil se met en marche en
mode manuel à la puissance maximale.
• Pour éteindre l’appareil, appuyer sur la pédale
marche/arrêt.
Mode manuel
• Régler la puissance de succion en appuyant sur le
bouton + ou - sur l’aspirateur (21).
• Régler la puissance au besoin en fonction de la
tâche de nettoyage.
– Utiliser la puissance maximale pour nettoyer
en profondeur les planchers et les surfaces
planes.
– Utiliser la puissance moyenne pour aspirer les
capitonnages ou épousseter.
– Utiliser la puissance minimum pour le
nettoyage délicat des rideaux et tapis
anciens.
• Le niveau de puissance de succion en cours
d’utilisation est indiqué par les icônes de réglage
de puissance sur le tableau indicateur.
Mode automatique
• Pour passer en mode automatique, appuyer sur le
bouton Auto sur l’aspirateur (22).
• Cela règle automatiquement l’aspiration en
fonction de la tâche effectuée.
• Pour quitter le mode automatique, appuyer sur le
bouton + ou -.
