BELT OR BRUSH ROLL: REMOVAL & REPLACEMENT
WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY FROM MOVING PARTS, UNPLUG BEFORE SERVICING.
TOOL REQUIRED: PHILLIPS OR FLATHEAD SCREWDRIVER
TO REMOVE OLD BELT
Turn cleaner over. Base should lay flat and face up. To remove
nozzle guard, remove the two (2) screws near brushroller (Diagram
1). Release the nozzle guard by pulling tab toward the front of the
cleaner and rotate/pivot the nozzle guard up to lift off (Diagram 1a). Be sure belt is off motor shaft.
Lift and remove brushroll.
Dispose of old belt.
TO REPLACE A NEW BELT
Slip brushroll through belt.
Place belt in area of brushroll
without bristles. Loop belt around motor shaft. With new belt in place, pull and
slide brushroll onto nozzle making
sure that the brushroll end caps
are in the correct orientation (see
inset).Rotate brushroll manually to
make sure belt is properly aligned.
To reassemble the nozzle
guard, align the three (3)
insert guides on the front
of the nozzle guard with
the slots in the base.
Rotate/pivot the nozzle
guard back into position
making sure that the tab
is fully engaged back by
the rear wheel. Replace the two (2)
screws to secure
nozzle guard.
COURROIE OU ROULEAU-BROSSE : RETRAIT ET RÉINSTALLATION
AVERTISSEMENT: POUR RÉDUIRE LE RISQUE DE BLESSURE, DÉBRANCHER L'ASPIRATEUR
AVANT DE CHANGER LA COURROIE OU LA BROSSE.
OUTIL NÉCESSAIRE : TOURNEVIS PLAT OU CRUCIFORME
POUR ENLEVER LA COURROIE
Tournez l'aspirateur sur le dos. La base doit être à plat et tournée vers Ie haut.
Pour enlever Ie dispositif de protection du suceur, retirez les deux (2) vis situées
près des rouleaux (illustration 1). Dégagez Ie dispositif de protection du suceur
en tirant la languette vers I'avant de I'aspirateur et faites tourner/pivoter Ie
dispositif de protection vers Ie haut pour I'enlever (illustration 1a). Assurez-vous que la courroie
n'est pas sur I'arbre du
moteur. Soulevez et enlevez
Ie rouleau-brosse. Jetez la
courroie usagée.
POUR METTRE EN PLACE LA NOUVELLE COURROIE
Faites glisser Ie rouleau
brosse à travers la courroie,
Placez la courroie dans la
partie du rouleau-brosse
n'ayant pas de crins. Enroulez la courroie autour
de I'arbre du moteur. Une fois la nouvelle courroie installée, tirez
et glissez Ie rouleau-brosse dans Ie suceur
en veillant à ce que les extremités du
rouleau-brosse soient orientées correctement
(en médaillon). Faites pivoter Ie rouleau-
brosse à la main pour vous assurer que la
courroie est alignée correctement.
Remettez les
deux (2) vis
pour fixer Ie
dispositif de
protection du
suceur.

Pour ré-assembler Ie
dispositif de protection du
suceur, alignez les trois (3)
languettes qu'iI comporte sur
I'avant avec les fentes situées
dans la base. Faites
tourner/pivoter Ie disposltif de
protection du suceur pour Ie
remettre en place et assurez-
vous que la languette est
complètement réengagée
près de la roue arrière.
