5.3 HEAT SHIELD INSTALLATION
The heat shield stored in the appliance must be installed under the appliance
with the 2 provided screws.
For reduced clearances installation must comply with
NFPA 211 or CAN/CSA-B365.
A. Remove the 4 screws from the rating plate
on the back of the appliance.
B. Replace the screws removed with the 4
spacers supplied.
C. Install the rear heat shield using the 4
screws removed and secure to the 4
spacers. Install the fl ue collar shield to the
rear heat shield using the 2 screws supplied.
NOTE: The fl ue collar shield is only needed if the fl ue collar is in the top exit position. If the fl ue
collar is in the rear exit position, the fl ue collar shield must be discarded.
