There are white squares on the display of my digital video device while I am
recording movie images from my notebook to the digital video device
If the port replicator is attached to your notebook, follow these steps:
(For Windows Me™)
1 Click Start, point to Settings, point to Control Panel, and then click the
System icon.
The System Properties dialog box appears.
2 Click the Device Manager tab. Double-click Network Adapter and then
select “Klsi USB-Ethernet Device Adapter.”
3 Right-click Property (this only appears if the port replicator is attached).
4 Click the Overall tab and then click the “Impossible to use in this hardware
profile” box.
(For Windows 2000)
1 Click Start, point to Settings, point to Control Panel, and then click the
System icon.
The System Properties dialog box appears.
2 Click the Hardware tab and then click the Device Manager button.
3 Double-click Network Adapter, right-click “Klsi USB-Ethernet Device
Adapter,” and then select Disabled.
My PC card is not working
❑ Make sure the PC card is compatible with Microsoft® Windows®.
❑ Use the Sony Notebook Setup utility to disable devices you are not currently
using.
❑ If you are using two PC cards, use the Sony Notebook Setup utility to disable
the devices you are not currently using.
