● WIND CUT
✤ The WIND CUT function works in CAMERA and PLAYER
modes.
✤ The WIND CUT function minimizes wind noise or other noise
while recording.

When the wind cut is on, some low sounds are eliminated
along with the sound of the wind.
1. Set the camcorder to CAMERA mode.
2. Press the MENU button.
■ The menu list will appear.
3. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight A/V and
press the ENTER button.
4. Select WIND CUT from submenu.
5. This feature toggles ON/OFF each time you
press the ENTER button.
■ is shown in the display when you turn the
WIND CUT on.
6. To exit, press the MENU button.
Notes
■ Make sure WIND CUT is set to off when you want the microphone
to be as sensitive as possible.
■ Use the WIND CUT when recording in windy places such as the
beach or near buildings.

● Coupe-vent (WIND CUT)
✤ Cette fonction est disponible à la fois en mode caméscope et
magnétoscope.
✤ La fonction coupe-vent réduit le niveau de bruit ambiant
pendant le tournage, et notamment le souffle du vent.

Lorsque cette fonction est activée, certains bruits faibles
sont supprimés et ne seront plus audibles dans
l’enregistrement.
1. Réglez le caméscope sur CAMERA
(mode caméscope).
2. Appuyez sur la touche MENU.
■ Le menu des fonctions apparaît.
3. À l’aide de la molette MENU, sélectionnez A/V
et appuyez sur la touche ENTER.
4. Sélectionnez WIND CUT dans le sous-menu
qui s’affiche.
5. Alternez entre ON et OFF pour activer ou
désactiver la fonction en appuyant sur la touche
ENTER.
■ apparaît à l'écran lorsque vous activez
la fonction WIND CUT (coupe-vent).
6. Pour sortir du menu, appuyez sur la touche
MENU.
Important
■ Assurez-vous que la fonction WIND CUT est désactivée lorsque
vous voulez maximiser la sensibilité du micro.
■ Utilisez la fonction WIND CUT pour des enregistrements dans des
lieux venteux comme la plage ou à proximité de bâtiments.
