Product description
Specifi cations
The MF1-UL Wireless Control Module
works with STEINEL's wireless lighting
control devices to create control zones
without the need for additional wiring.
The MF1-UL simply plugs into a STEINEL
wireless device. Devices are then grouped
together via a DIP switch address.
Any transmitter device with an MF1-UL
module will switch all devices in a group
ON when triggered. For example, when
915 MHz
Wireless
a sensor detects occupancy and switches
lights ON, this switching command will be
sent to all other wireless devices within the
group. All wireless devices with the same
group address will consequently switch the
lights ON. The lights will not switch OFF until
no command signals are sent to the group
and the last device's time delay has expired.
The command signals are limited by the radio
range of the devices.
300 feet (91.4 m) depending on line of sight. Range may
be less if signal needs to pass through obstacles.
Approximate percentage of signal loss:
0 – 30% plasterboard, wood, uncoated glass
5 – 35% chipboard, brickwork
10 – 90% reinforced concrete
90 – 100%, metal, aluminum laminate
100% service/elevator shafts, metal enclosures, fi re walls
Recommendation: up to 100 ft (30.5 m) of safe
wireless connection
