product. All Price Pfister products are carefully engineered,
and factory tested to provide long trouble-free use under

1 BEFORE PROCEEDING
WARNING: Read all the instructions completely before
proceeding. Price Pfister recommends calling a professional
if you are uncertain about installing this product!
This product should be installed in accordance with all local
and state plumbing and building codes.
2 SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLY
Locate water supply inlets and shut off the water supply
valves. These are usually found under the sink or near the
water meter. If you are replacing an existing faucet, remove
the old faucet from the sink and clean the sink surface
thoroughly.
3 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
If operating pressures exceed 5 BAR (~75 PSI), the use of a
pressure reducer is recommended. Before proceeding with
the assembling, we advise to clean the hot and cold water
tubes, in order to avoid build-up of dirt that could compromise
the functioning of the valve.
4 INSTALLATION OF THE BUILT-IN THERMO
SHOWER MIXER
(Fig.A) Take out the plastic caps (1) with the help of a
flathead screwdriver. Place the valve body (2) in the wall with
the shower water outlet (3) towards the top, connect the hot
water supply (4) to the left inlet and the cold water supply (5)
to the right inlet.
(Fig.B) The embedded depth to the wall (coating
included) must be kept within the tolerance given by the
MIN/MAX indications (2) on the plastic cover (1). Take off the
cover as shown.
5 SHOWER ONLY OUTLET CONNECTIONS
(Fig.A)
Connect shower outlet pipe (6) to valve body outlet (3).
Plug bottom outlet with Pipe Plug (8).
WARNING Iron Pipe Connections: When attaching
threaded fittings, use thread sealant or PTFE Plumber’s tape
according to manufacturer’s instructions.
6 TRIM FLANGE (Fig.C), SHOWER ARM AND
HEAD INSTALLATION (Fig.D)
Position valve flange (3), washers (2) and gasket (1) onto
the valve body (4). Place the flange on the valve and secure
it using the screws (9).
Install the shower arm flange (5) over the shower arm
(6). Place the flange firmly against the wall. Apply PTFE
plumber's tape to both ends of Shower Arm (6) according
to manufacturer's instructions. Screw the shower head (7) to
the shower arm (6), placing the washer (8) in between.
CAUTION: Maintenance
DISASSEMBLY
1. Replacement parts may be available at the store where you
purchased your faucet.
2. When replacement parts are not available, please write or
call Price Pfister Consumer Service.
3. Always turn off water and relieve pressure before
working on your faucet.
NOTE: Trim Care
Cleaning Instructions:
For all Handles and decorative finishes, use only a soft damp
cloth to clean and shine. Use of polish, detergents, abrasive
cleaners, organic solvents or acid may cause damage. Use of
other than a soft damp cloth will nullify our warranty!
Special Trim:
Trim products which contain Porcelain or other similar
substance are not acceptable for public areas or Commercial
use. Installation of Said Trim is at Users Risk!
7 LEVER ATTACHMENT (Fig.D)
FOR LAGO SERIES: Place the handle (1) on the valve of
the supply stop and fix it with the grub screw (2). Then screw
on the lever (3).
FOR ARIA AND ISOLA SERIES: Screw the cap (4) on the
threaded part of the supply stop, place the lever (5) as shown
in the figure, then tighten with the grub screw (6).
(Fig.F) This figure shows the faucet correctly assembled.
Water can be opened by turning the handle clockwise (1),
temperature is regulated by the other handle (2).
8 UNIT START UP
Turn on hot and cold water supplies, and check all connections
for leaks.
9 REPLACEMENT OF THE CARTRIDGE
(Fig.E)
Close the supply stops (10) clockwise with the use a
screwdriver, unscrew the screw (2) using the allen wrench
(3) and pull-out the cap (1). Assemble the o-ring (4) on the
slip ring (5), then insert them into the thermostatic valve body.
Insert the o-ring (9) on the valve body (12) and assemble
the cap (8). Then use the provided special grease (11) to
lubricate the o-rings of the thermostatic cartridge (6). Insert
it in the valve body, make sure to align the positioning hole
with the screw seat (2), then tighten this screw. Attention!
Do not overtighten. This may cause, poor performance or
valve malfunction. The thermostatic cartridge is provided with
a safety button to prevent burns, this is regulated at 100°F
(38°C). To obtain higher temperatures it is necessary to
push the red button on the regulating handle. In case hot or
cold water pressure should cease, the flow is automatically
stopped. Unscrew the supply stops (10) counterclockwise
with the use of a screwdriver.
