Les symboles suivants apparaîtront au cours du fonctionnement normal et des
erreurs de l’appareil et sont expliqués ci-dessous.
Fonctionnement normal
Fonctionnement normal (figure 5) avec piles chargées. Le
point en bas à droite clignote toutes les 5 secondes. S’il y a
de l’oxyde de carbone, il sera indiqué en parties par million
(PPM).
Fonctionnement normal après avoir mis les piles ou réinitialisation
La figure 5 indique l’affichage normal immédiatement a prè s
l’installation des piles ou après que vous appuyez sur le bou-
ton de test/réinitialisation. L’affichage devrait retourner à l’af-
fichage normal (figure 4) environ 30 secondes après avoir
relâché le bouton de réinitialisation (voir bouton de test/réini-
tialisation page 13).
Vous appuyez et maintenez le bouton de test/réinitialisation, l’alarme retentira
dans les 15 secondes. L’affichage indiquera un chiffre tout le temps que
l’alarme sonne. Ce chiffre fait partie des fonctions de test et n’indique pas une
lecture de CO. Ne faites pas attention au chiffre au cours du processus de
test/réinitialisation.
Bouton de niveau maximum
Quand vous appuyez sur le bouton de niveau maximum et le
maintenez, l’affichage indique la plus haute lecture de CO
prise par l’alarme depuis qu’il a été réinitialisé ou remis en
état de marche (voir figure 6).
Bien que la fonction de niveau maximum permette d’afficher des niveaux
inférieurs à 30PPM, ces niveaux ne déclenchent pas l’alarme, peu importe la
durée d’exposition à ces faibles niveaux.

Other Possible Displays and Their Meanings
The following symbols will appear on the display during
normal or error operations, and are explained below.
Normal Operation
Normal operation (see figure 5) with a full battery.
The dot in the lower right corner cycles on and off
every 5 seconds. If CO is present the display will
indicate the reading in Parts Per Million (PPM).
Normal Operation following Power-up or Reset
Figure 5 shows the normal display immediately
after installing batteries or after the test/reset
button is pressed. The display should change to the
normal display (see figure 4) approximately
30 seconds after pressing the test/reset button.
(see Test/Reset Button page 13).
If the test/reset button is pressed, the alarm will sound. The display
will show a number during the time that the alarm is sounding.
This number is a normal part of the test function, and does
not indicate a CO reading.
Ignore the number during the
test/reset procedure.
Peak Level Display
When the peak level button is pressed and held,
the display shows the highest CO reading taken
by the CO alarm since its last peak level reset or
power-up(Example shown in Figure 6).
Although the peak level feature will display levels
below 30 PPM, these levels will not result in an
alarm no matter how long the device is exposed to these levels.
