Mounting:

1. Align the left Mounting Bar to the handle bars on the riser portion of the left side. Using the

Mounting Strap, 1” Hex bolt, and screw, fasten the Mounting Bar to the handle bars. Align the
screw through the Mounting Strap and then through the threaded hole on the Mounting Bar.
Tighten the screw. Align the 1” Hex bolt through the Mounting Strap and the Mounting Bar and
proceed to tighten using the Hex Nut. (Allow a little play so you may adjust the Mounting Bar
location later.)

2. Position the left Hand Guard in front of the Mounting Bar so that the holes on the posts align with

the hole on the Mounting Bar. There are three options here for mounting the Hand Guard to the
Mounting Bar. Using the 2.25” Hex bolt, Spacer Block, lock washer and Hex Nut, fasten the
Hand Guard to the Mounting Bar in your desired position. (You may need to adjust the Mounting
Bar to the Handle Bars for proper location.) You must use the star washer between the aluminum
mounting bar and the plastic mounting surface. The lock washer must be imbedded into the
plastic to achieve correct installation. This will help to prevent the hand guard from pivoting on
the mount. Lock Tite can be used on threads also.

NOTE: Over tightening of the bolt and nut, could damage the plastic mounting tabs on
the hand guard causing it to fail.
