Cleaning the Pump Filter
Duetothenatureofthefront-loadwasher,
itissometimespossibleforsmallarticles
topasstothepump.Thewasherhasa
filtertocapturelostitemssotheyarenot
dumpedtothedrain.Toretrievelostitems,
cleanoutthepumpfilter.
1. Usingacoinorflatscrewdriver
inthenotchonthedoor,open
theaccessdoor.
2. Placeashallowpanordishunder
thepumpaccessdoorandtowels
onthefloorinfrontofthewasherto
protectthefloor.Itisnormaltocatch
aboutacupofwaterwhenthefilter
isremoved.
3. Pulldownthepourspout.
4. Turnthepumpfiltercounterclockwise
andremovethefilter.Openslowlyto
allowthewatertodrain.
5. Cleanthedebrisfromthefilter.
6. Replacethefilterandturnclockwise.
Tightensecurely.
7. Flipupthepourspout.
8. Closetheaccessdoor.

Openthewasherdoor.Usingbothhands,
pressdownthedoorgasket.Removeany
foreignobjectsiffoundtrappedinside
thegasket.Makesurethereisnothing
blockingtheholesbehindthegasket.
Whileholdingdownthedoorgasket,
inspecttheinteriorgasketbypullingit
downwithyourfingers.Removeany
foreignobjectsiffoundtrappedinside
thisgasket.Makesurethereisnothing
blockingtheholesbehindthegasket.
Whenyouarefinishedcleaning
thedoorgasket,removeyourhands
andthegasketwillreturn
totheoperatingposition.
