1) Screw end threaded pipe into coupling on top of fixture body.
2) Lower tube down over threaded pipe.
3) Pass hole in check ring over end of threaded pipe. Set check ring on top
of tube.
4) Pass hole in canopy over end of threaded pipe. Set canopy on top of
check ring.
5) Slip lockwasher over end of threaded pipe. Thread hexnut onto threaded
pipe.
6) TURN OFF POWER.
IMPORTANT: Before you start, NEVER attempt any work without
shutting off the electricity until the work is done.
a) Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home. Place
the main power switch in the “OFF” position.
b) Unscrew the fuse(s), or switch “OFF” the circuit breaker switch(s),
that control the power to the fixture or room that you are working on.
c) Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position. If the fixture to be
replaced has a switch or pull chain, place those in the “OFF”
position.
7) Find the appropriate threaded holes on mounting strap. Assemble
mounting screws into threaded holes.
8) Attach mounting strap to outlet box. (Screws not provided) Mounting
strap can be adjusted to suit position of fixture.
9) Make wire connections (connectors not provided.) Reference chart
below for correct connections and wire accordingly.
10) Push fixture to ceiling, carefully passing mounting screws through holes.
11) Secure fixture to ceiling with threaded balls.
12) Raise shade up to fixture. Align holes in bracket on shade with holes in
bracket on fixture body..
13) Thread screws down through holes in bracket on fixture body and into
holes in bracket on shade.
14) Thread ball knobs on to ends of screws. Tighten ball knobs to secure
shade in place.
1) Visser l’extrémité du tube fileté dans l’accouplement sur l’extrémité
supérieure du luminaire.
2) Abaisser le tube sur le tube fileté.
3) Passer le trou dans l’anneau de retenue sur l’extrémité du tube fileté.
Fixer l’anneau de retenue en haut du tube.
4) Passer le trou dans le cache sur l’extrémité du tube fileté. Placer le
cache sur l’anneau de retenue.
5) Glisser la rondelle de blocage sur l’extrémité du tube fileté. Visser
l’écrou hexagonal sur le tube fileté.
6) COUPER LE COURANT.
IMPORTANT: TOUJOURS couper l’électricité avant de commencer le
travail.
a) Localiser le coffret à fusibles ou le disjoncteur du domicile. Mettre
l’interrupteur principal en position d’Arrêt.
b) Dévisser le ou les fusibles (ou mettre le disjoncteur sur Arrêt) qui
contrôlent l’alimentation vers le luminaire ou la pièce dans
laquelle le travail est effectué.
c) Mettre l’interrupteur mural en position d’Arrêt. Si le luminaire à
remplacer est doté d’un interrupteur ou d’une chaîne connectée à
l‘interrupteur, placer ces éléments en position d’Arrêt.
7) Trouver les trous filetés appropriés sur le support de montage. Visser
les vis de montage dans les trous taraudés.
8) Fixer le support de montage sur la boîte à prises. (Vis non fournies).
Le support de montage peut être réglé afin de positionner correctement
le luminaire.
9) Connecter les fils (connecteurs non fournis). Se porter au tableau ci-
dessous pour faire les connexions.
10) Pousser le luminaire vers le plafond en passant soigneusement les vis
de montage par les trous.
11) Fixer le luminaire au plafond à l’aide des boules filetées.
12) Soulever le cache jusqu’au luminaire. Aligner les trous situés dans le
support du cache aux trous dans le support sur le luminaire.
13) Serrer les vis dans les trous des supports du luminaire ainsi que dans
les trous du support du cache.
14) Placer les boules sur l’extrémité des vis. Serrer les boules pour fixer le
cache.
