1) Turn off power.
IMPORTANT: Before you start, neVer attempt any work without
shutting off the electricity until the work is done.
a) Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home. place
the main power switch in the “off” position.
b) unscrew the fuse(s), or switch “off” the circuit breaker switch(s),
that control the power to the fixture or room that you are working on.
c) place the wall switch in the “off” position. If the fixture to be
replaced has a switch or pull chain, place those in the “off”
position.
2) find the appropriate threaded holes on mounting strap. Assemble
mounting screws into threaded holes.
3) Attach mounting strap to outlet box. (Screws not provided) Mounting
strap can be adjusted to suit position of fixture.
4) Make wire connections (connectors not provided.) reference chart
below for correct connections and wire accordingly.
5) push fixture to ceiling, carefully passing mounting screws through holes.
6) Secure fixture to ceiling with threaded balls.
7) Screw short end of adjustable pipe with into bottom of fixture.
8) raise shade up to fixture passing end of adjustable pipe through hole in
shade.
9) Slip flat washer then rubber washer over end of adjustable pipe.
10) raise diffuser up to fixture. pass hole in diffuser over end of adjustable
pipe.
11) Slip rubber washer then flat washer over end of adjustable pipe and
screw hexnut onto end of adjustable pipe. (Do noT over tighten.)
12) pass bottom trim, small tube then crystal trim over end of adjustable
pipe and screw finial onto end of adjustable pipe. (Do noT over
tighten.)
NOTE: After assembly, if fixture does not hang straight, remove glass and
bend adjustable pipe to desired position, then reassemble glass. CAUTION:
Do noT attempt to straighten fixture by pulling on glass while glass is still
assembled to fixture.
1) Couper le CourAnT.
IMPORTANT: TouJourS couper l’électricité avant de commencer le
travail.
a) localiser le coffret à fusibles ou le disjoncteur du domicile. Mettre
l’interrupteur principal en position d’Arrêt.
b) Dévisser le ou les fusibles (ou mettre le disjoncteur sur Arrêt) qui
contrôlent l’alimentation vers le luminaire ou la pièce dans
laquelle le travail est effectué.
c) Mettre l’interrupteur mural en position d’Arrêt. Si le luminaire à
remplacer est doté d’un interrupteur ou d’une chaîne connectée à
l‘interrupteur, placer ces éléments en position d’Arrêt.
2) Trouver les trous filetés appropriés sur le support de montage. Visser
les vis de montage dans les trous taraudés.
3) fixer le support de montage sur la boîte à prises. (Vis non fournies).
le support de montage peut être réglé afin de positionner correctement
le luminaire.
4) Connecter les fils (connecteurs non fournis). Se porter au tableau ci-
dessous pour faire les connexions.
5) pousser le luminaire vers le plafond en passant soigneusement les vis
de montage par les trous.
6) fixer le luminaire au plafond à l’aide des boules filetées.
7) Visser l’extrémité courte du tube réglable dans l’accouplement sur
l’extrémité inférieure du luminaire.
8) Soulever l’abat-jour vers le luminaire en passant le tube réglable par le
trou dans l’abat-jour.
9) passer la rondelle plate puis la rondelle caoutchoutée sur le tube réglable.
10) Soulever le diffuseur jusqu’au luminaire en passant le trou par dessus
l’extrémité du tube fileté.
11) passer la rondelle caoutchoutée puis la rondelle plate sur le tube réglable
et visser l’écrou hexagonal sur l’extrémité du tube réglable. (ne pAS
serrer avec excès).
12) passer la garniture inférieure, le petit tube puis le cristal sur le tube
réglable et visser l’ornement sur le tube réglable. (ne pAS serrer avec
excès).
REMARQUE : Après le montage, si le luminaire ne pend pas correctement,
enlever le verre et plier un tube réglable à la position souhaitée et
réassembler le verre. ATTENTION : ne pAS essayer de redresser le
luminaire en tirant sur le verre tandis que le verre est installé sur le luminaire.
