CONVERTER KIT
User’s Guide
1. For use when traveling to other countries that use
220/240VAC.
Note: Not for use in North America
2. Converts the voltage of your small electronics safely
in other countries
3. Kit includes five adapter plugs: 0-50 watts (for electronics)
and 50-1600 watts (for heating products)
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Select proper wattage setting.
Check the appliance name plate for appropriate wattage. Then set the selector switch on the converter to 50W or 1600W setting.
If the wattage is not provided on appliance name plate it can be calculated if you know the amperage by using the following formula,
W wattage = V voltage x I amperage (mA or A)
i. Set the converter to 50W when using with battery chargers, electric toothbrushes, shavers, contact lens sterilizers, etc., that do not exceed 50 Watts.
ii. Set the converter to 1600 Watts for use with clothes steamers, hair dryers, travel irons, curling irons, food/bottle warmers, etc.
2. If adapter plug is necessary, attach adapter plug to converter before attempting to plug converter into the wall outlet.
3. Insert converter into wall outlet.
Note: Must insert converter into the appropriate adapter plug BEFORE plugging the converter into the wall outlet.
4. Plug appliance into the voltage converter. The appliance is now ready for use.
5. If the Voltage Converter is overloaded the fuse may blow. The fuse must be replaced with a fuse that is the same type and rating (250V, 10A)
ADAPTER PLUGS
Electrical wall outlets around the world differ in shape, assortment and arrangement of outlet holes. This kit offers five different adapter plugs for use
with the converter and dual voltage appliances.
• ROUND THIN & THICK PINS -- Europe, Middle East, Asia
• FLAT ANGLED BLADES -- Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, China
• FLAT PARALLEL BLADES -- South America, Caribbean, Japan
• 3-SQUARE PINS -- Africa, Hong Kong, Singapore, parts of Great Britain & Ireland
Note: The plugs only enable you to plug your converter or dual voltage appliance into a foreign wall outlet.

• Do not leave the converter plugged into the wall outlet when not in use
• Do not expose to liquid, moisture or humidity
• Do not handle with wet hands
• Do not attempt to disassemble
• Do not use with electronic devices demanding power over
120V, 15A or 240V, 7.5A
