Chapter 1 : INTRODUCTION
1-1. SUPPLIED EQUIPMENT
• 1 REMOTE KEYPAD (RK8022-T or RK8022).
• 1 Power supply.
• 1 Remote cable (DB9 M/F) 3 m / 10 ft.
• 1 "update" cable (DB9 F/F) 0.9 m / 3 ft.
• 2 white labels: to rename the input selection buttons.
• 1 User's manual.
1-2. GENERAL INFORMATION
The REMOTE KEYPAD is a control device for the CENTRIX ™ that enables to drive all their functions from as far as
100 meters (333 feet).
1-3. FRONT PANEL DESCRIPTION
LCD CONTROL
EXIT/MENU: Switches between Status and Control mode.
ENTER:
Validates a selected item.
 : Allows scrolling thru the different menus.
EFFECT
CUT: CUT effect selection.
USER 1 to 4: USER effect selection.
PIP:
PIP effect selection.
OUTPUT SELECT
MAIN/OUT 1: MAIN / OUT 1 selection for adjustments or input selection.
PREVIEW/OUT 2: PREVIEW / OUTPUT 2 selection for adjustments or input selection.
ADJUSTMENT
LOGO ON/OFF: Display ON or OFF the assigned logos of the displayed input.
LOGO POSITION: Horizontal & Vertical Logos position adjustment.
• First push: logo 1 horizontal position. Adjust with.
• Second push: logo 1 vertical position. Adjust with.
• Third push: logo 2 horizontal position. Adjust with.
• Forth push: logo 2 vertical position. Adjust with.
PIP POS. / SIZE: PIP position & size adjustment.
• First push: horizontal position. Adjust with.
• Second push: vertical position. Adjust with.
• Third push: horizontal size. Adjust with.
• Forth push: vertical size. Adjust with.
IMAGE CENTERING: Allows centering the selected image in the centering pattern.
IMAGE POS. / SIZE:
IMAGE position & size adjustment.
• First push: horizontal position. Adjust with.
• Second push: vertical position. Adjust with.
• Third push: horizontal size. Adjust with.
• Forth push: vertical size. Adjust with.
FREEZE
MAIN/OUT 1: Allows to freeze the MAIN / OUTPUT 1.
PREVIEW/OUT 2: Allows to freeze the PREVIEW / OUTPUT 2.
INPUT SELECT
1 to 8: Input source selection.
BLACK: Black screen selection.
NOTE: The turn ON LED indicates the selected input (displayed on MAIN /OUTPUT 1). The blinking LED
indicates the pre-selected input (displayed on PREVIEW /OUTPUT 2).
TAKE & T-BAR: Allow switching the pre-selected input (blinking key) on the MAIN output with the
selected EFFECT (EFFECT KEYS).
