beans to the proper degree of finwiess in general a
good starting point is to run the grinder for 10
seconds. After 10 seconds stop grinding and allow
the motor to come to a complete stop. Then check
the result and if the f rind is not yet fine enough dose
the cover and run the grinder for another 5 seconds.
If you are attempting to obtain the pulverized coffee
required for Turkish coffee, repeat the 5 seconds
grinding step, allowing the motor to come to a full
stop after each 5 seconds of running, until the
proper fineness is achieved. For Turkish coffee this
wil usually require one 10 second run totlowed by
four runs of 5 seconds.
Cleaning and maintenance
The Bosch MKM 6000 series coffee grinder requires
no special care other than occasiwial cleaning.
Before deaning, always be sure to unplug the
appliance. With the coffee grinder unplugged you

can remove the cover and wipe it dean with a brush
or damp doth. The cover may be washed, if desired.
The slant basket should be cleaned wflh a brush or
dry (not wet) cloth. The exterior of the grinder body
should periodically be wiped witii a damp doth.
Important: Never immerse the grinder in water or
attempt to wash the coffee grinder in any liquid. To
do so could result in damage to the grinder as well
as an electrical hazard.
Service and repair
The coffee grinder is a sealed unit and no repair is
possiWe. Do not attempt to repair the appliance
yourself. Any work performed by unauthorized
personal may vdd the warranty. If the coffee grinder
fells within the warranty period it should be returned
to your dealer of toe manufecturer vwto a proof of
purdiase, shovnng the date of purchase, for
replacement
