Installation Instructions:
How To Change Pipe Intake Side On the Power Unit.
The central vacuum power unit is factory equipped with the pipe intake on
the left side and the plug/cap installed on the right side. It is simple to move
the pipe intake to the right side.
1. On the left side of the power unit, remove the intake by turning it
counter-clockwise.
2. On the right side of the power unit, remove the cap/plug by turning it
counter-clockwise. A screwdriver can be inserted into the cap brackets
to untighten.
3. Moisten both gaskets with water, using a soft cloth. This will make them
install easier.
4. On the right side of the power unit, install the intake by turning it
clockwise until tight.
5. On the left side of the power unit, install the plug/cap by turning it
clockwise until tight.
Please note that if you need the pipe intake to be located on the left side,
you can simply disregard the ATLIS
® system and just attach the pipe to the
power unit as a standard installation.
