DOCK LADDER MOUNTING

INSTRUCTIONS

1 - Attach the stop bracket to the lowest ladder tread as shown.
2 - Place completed ladder assembly on dock in the desired location.
3 - Using the holes in the hand rail mounting plates (A), mark mounting hole locations through the holes and onto the dock.

SECURING THE LADDER

- Lag Bolts: Drill pilot holes in the locations marked for mounting the ladder onto the dock for lag bolts.

- Place the ladder in position on the dock and using lag bolts with flat washers, secure the ladder to the dock.

4b- Thru-Bolt Installation: Recommended for softwood docks such as Cedar.

- Drill holes through the dock in the locations marked for mounting the ladder.

Drill holes large enough only for the carriage or machine bolt size to be used.

- Place the ladder in position on the dock and using carriage bolts or, machine bolts with flat washers, secure the ladder to the dock with flat washers

and locking nuts, or both flat and lock washers with conventional nuts on the underside of the dock.

DO NOT exceed the ladders’ maximum capacity of 400lb (181Kg).

To lower the ladder lift up slightly to disengage the retaining rail (X).
Push outward slightly to prevent the retaining rail from engaging
when the steps are lowered.

Fig. 4-

Lower the ladder steps until the top step is just above the retaining
rail. Pull the top step towards the dock and lower onto the retaining
rail (X) to engage.

Reverse procedure to return to rest position.

Tools & Materials Required
• 7/16” wrenches or sockets
• Phillips screw driver
Recommended Minimum Hardware
• 5/16” x 2-1/2” Lag bolts & washers (4)

or Carriage Bolts, nuts & washers (4)

Convenience Cords as illustrated below, may at the users discretion be
affixed through predrilled holes in the mounting and step rails to assist in
raising or lowering the ladder. Not a retail item
