この取扱説明書の注意事項をよくお読みください。お読みになったあ
とは、いつでも見られるところに必ず保管してください。
万一、異常が起きたら
変な音・においがしたら、煙が出たら、異常に温度が上がったら、

すぐにバッテリーをはずし、ソニーの相談窓口にご相談ください。
バッテリーから液が漏れたら、
すぐに火気より遠ざけてください。漏れた液や気体に引火して発火、 ˎ
破裂の恐れがあります。
目に入った場合は、こすらずにすぐに水道水など多量のきれいな水で
ˎ
充分に洗ったあと、医師の治療をうけてください。
液を口に入れたり、なめた場合、すぐに水道水で口を洗浄し医師に相
ˎ
談してください。
液が身体や衣服についたときは、水でよく洗い流してください。
ˎ
下記の注意事項を守らないと 火

火の中に入れない。ショート ( 短絡 ) させたり、分解しない。電子レン ˎ
ジやオーブンなどで加熱しない。コインやヘアピン、ネックレスなど

火のそばや炎天下、高温になった車の中などで放置したり、充電した ˎ
りしない。
水・海水・牛乳・清涼飲料水・石鹸水などの液体で濡れたバッテリー

を充電したり、使用しない。

ハンマーなどでたたいたり、踏みつけたり、落下させるなどの衝撃や ˎ
力を与えない。

乳幼児の手の届かない所に置き、口に入れないよう注意する。万一飲

み込んだ場合は、ただちに医師に相談してください。
外装シールを剥がしたり、傷つけたりしない。シールの破れや剥がれ
ˎ
のある電池は、絶対に使用しない。
分解や改造をしない
火災や感電の原因となります。
内部の点検や修理はソニーの相談窓口にご相談くださ
い。
指定以外のバッテリー（電池）を使わない
火災やけがの原因になることがあります。
内部に水や異物を入れない
水や異物が入ると火災や感電の原因となります。万一、
水や異物が入ったときは、本機をコンセントから抜いて、
ソニーの相談窓口にご相談ください。
電源プラグ部は根元まで確実に差し込む
差し込みが不完全ですと、発火、感電の原因となり、やけ
どやけがをする恐れがあります。
水のある場所に置かない
本機やバッテリーに水が入ったり、ぬれたり、風呂場で
使ったりすると、火災や感電の原因となります。
火のそばや炎天下、高温になった車の中などで
放置したり、充電したりしない
危険防止の保護回路が壊れることがあります。
下記の注意事項を守らないと、 けが をしたり周辺の
家財 に 損害 を与えたりすることがあります。
水滴のかかる場所など、湿気の多い場所やほこ
り、油煙、湯気の多い場所では使わない
上記のような場所で使うと、火災や感電の原因となるこ
とがあります。
ぬれた手で本機をさわらない
感電の原因となることがあります。
使用しないときは、本機をコンセントから抜く
使用しないときは本機をコンセントから抜き、バッテ
リーをはずして保存してください。火災の原因となるこ
とがあります。
安定した場所に置く
ぐらついた台の上や傾いたところなどに置くと、製品が
落ちてけがの原因となることがあります。
通電中の本機、充電中のバッテリーに長時間ふ
れない
温度が上がることがあります。長時間皮膚がふれたまま
になっていると、低温やけどの原因となることがありま
す。
本機を布団などでおおった状態で使わない
熱がこもってケースが変形したり、火災の原因となるこ
とがあります。
リチウム
イオン電池
お願い リチウムイオン電池は、リサイクルで
きます。不要になったリチウムイオ
ン電池は、金属部にセロハンテープな
どの絶縁テープを貼ってリサイクル
協力店へお持ちください。

使用上のご注意
高温になる所に放置しないでください。性能劣化や故障の原因にな ˎ
ることがあります。
端子（図の
ˎ ）にゴミや砂などの異物が付着しないように注意してご
使用ください。異物が付着してしまった場合には、先の細いやわらか
い綿棒などで完全に取り除いたあと、充電器や機器への取り付け、取
りはずしをくり返してください。
お使いになる機器の取扱説明書もあわせてご覧ください。

充電について
ご使用前に必ずソニー製専用充電器、または充電機能がある機器で充電
してください｡
（バッテリーチャージャー BC-CSN/BC-CSNB など、本バッテリーを充
電できる機器）
周囲の温度が
10 ∼ 30 ℃の範囲で、満充電まで充電することをおすすめ
します。この温度以外では、効果的な充電ができないことがあります。
詳細な充電のしかたと充電時間については、充電する各機器の取扱説明
書をご覧ください。
バッテリーの上手な使いかた
通常のご使用においては、充電の前に電池を使い切る必要はありませ ˎ
ん。残量があっても充電容量には影響ありません｡
周囲の温度が低いとバッテリーの性能が低下します。ポケットなど
ˎ
に入れて暖かくしておき、ご使用の直前にお使いになる機器に取り付
けることをおすすめします。
撮影には予定撮影時間の
2 ∼ 3 倍の予備バッテリーを準備して、事前 ˎ
に試し撮りをしましょう。
バッテリーの保管方法について
長期保管の際は１年に１回程度満充電にしてご使用の機器で使い ˎ
切った後、取りはずして、涼しい場所で保管してください。
カメラなどから取り出したバッテリーは、接点汚れ、ショート等を防
ˎ
止するため、携帯、保管時は必ず付属のバッテリーケースをご使用く
ださい。
バッテリーの寿命について
バッテリーには寿命があります。使用回数を重ねたり、時間が経過す ˎ
るにつれバッテリーの容量は少しずつ低下します。使用できる時間
が大幅に短くなった場合は、寿命と思われますので新しいものをご購
入ください。
寿命は、保管方法、使用状況や環境、バッテリーごとに異なります。
ˎ
撮影・記録内容の補償について
万一、バッテリーなどの不具合によって撮影や記録、再生がされなかっ
た場合、撮影・記録内容の補償についてはご容赦ください。

使用上のご注意
本機は防じん、防滴、防水仕様ではありません。
充電について
必ずソニー製純正バッテリーをお使いください。 ˎ
専用バッテリー以外の充電には使わないでください。 ˎ
バッテリーはしっかり取り付けてください。 ˎ
充電するときの温度
室温が
0 ℃∼ 40 ℃の範囲で充電できますが、電池の性能を充分に発揮
させるためには、 10 ℃∼ 30 ℃での充電をおすすめします。 10 ℃∼
30 ℃以外では、効率のよい充電ができないことがあります。
置いてはいけない場所
使用中、保管中にかかわらず、次のような場所に置かないでください。
故障の原因になります。
異常に高温になる場所 ˎ
ダッシュボードの上など直射日光の当たる場所や、熱器具の近くには
置かないでください。炎天下や夏場の窓を閉め切った自動車内は特
に高温になります。放置すると変形したり、故障したりすることがあ
ります。
激しい振動のある場所
ˎ
強力な磁気や放射線のある場所 ˎ
砂地、砂浜などの砂ぼこりの多い場所 ˎ
海辺や砂地、あるいは砂ぼこりが起こる場所などでは、砂がかからな
いようにしてください。故障の原因になります。
使用について
本機はお手近なコンセントを使用してください。本機は CHARGE ラ ˎ
ンプが消えていても電源から遮断されておりません。本機を使用中、
不具合が生じたときは、すぐに本機をコンセントから抜き、電源を遮
断してください。
本機を壁との隙間などの狭い場所に設置して使用しないでください。
ˎ
充電するときは、バッテリーを本機にしっかり取り付けてください。 ˎ
バッテリー保護のため、充電が完了しましたら、本機からバッテリー ˎ
を取りはずしてください。
衝撃を与えたり、落としたりしないでください。
ˎ
TV や AM ラジオやチューナーの近くで使わないでください。 ˎ
TV やラジオ、チューナーに雑音が入ることがあります。
使用後は必ず本機をコンセントから抜いておいてください。コンセ ˎ
ントから抜くときは本機を持って抜いてください。
本機の接点部に他の金属類が触れないようにしてください。ショー
ˎ
トすることがあります。
本機を海外旅行者用の電子式変圧器（トラベルコンバーター）に接続
ˎ
しないでください。発熱や故障の原因となります。
水の入ったものや花瓶等を本機の上にのせないでください。

充電中および充電直後のバッテリーまたは本機は、あたたかくなる場 ˎ
合があります。
お手入れについて
汚れがついたときは、柔らかい布やティッシュペーパーなどで、きれ ˎ
いに拭き取ってください。
汚れがひどいときは、水でうすめた中性洗剤に柔らかい布をひたし、
ˎ
固くしぼってから汚れを拭き取り、乾いた布で仕上げてください。
アルコール、シンナー、ベンジンなどは使わないでください。変質し
ˎ
たり、塗装を傷めたりすることがあります。
化学ぞうきんをご使用の際は、その注意書きに従ってください。
ˎ
殺虫剤のような揮発性のものをかけたり、ゴムやビニール製品に長時 ˎ
間接触させると、変質したり、塗装を傷めたりすることがあります。
バッテリーを充電する
1 バッテリーを取り付ける
バッテリーのマークを本機のマークの方向に合わせて、矢印方
向にカチッと音がするまでスライドさせてください。 （イラスト）
2 電源プラグを引き起こし、コンセントへ差し込む
電源プラグを上側にして差し込んでください。

電源プラグを下側にして差し込まないでください。 （イラスト）
充電が始まると、 CHARGE ランプ（オレンジ色）が点灯します。
充電が終了すると CHARGE ランプが消えます（実用充電）。
続けて約 1 時間充電するとさらに長く使えます（満充電）。
バッテリーを取りはずすとき
取り付けたときと反対の方向にスライドさせ、取りはずしてください。
充電時間について
バッテリー NP-BN1
実用充電時間 約 185 分
本機を使用し、使い切ったバッテリーを 25 ℃の室温で充電したとき ˎ
の時間です。
周囲の温度やバッテリーの状態によっては、上記の充電時間と異なる
ˎ
場合があります。
急いで使いたいとき
バッテリーは、充電が完了する前でも必要なときに取りはずして使えま
す。ただし、充電時間によってお使いになれる時間が異なります。
ご注意
CHARGE ランプが点灯しないときはバッテリーがしっかり取り付け ˎ
られているか確認してください。しっかり取り付けられないと、充電
されないことがあります。
すでに充電を完了しているバッテリーを取り付けたとき、
CHARGE ˎ
ランプが 1 度点灯してから消えます。
長期間使用していないバッテリーを充電する場合は、充電時間が長く ˎ
なることがあります。
充電したバッテリーは使わなくても少しずつ放電しています。撮影
ˎ
機会を逃さないためにも、ご使用前に充電してください。
海外へお持ちになる方へ
本機は 100V-240V のワールドワイド対応です。
本機を海外旅行者用の電子式変圧器（トラベルコンバーター）に接続
しないでください。発熱や故障の原因となります。

CHARGE ランプには 2 つの点滅パターンがあります
遅い点滅・・・・・・約 1.5 秒の点灯と消灯を繰り返す
速い点滅・・・・・・約 0.15 秒の点灯と消灯を繰り返す
CHARGE ランプの点滅パターンによって対処の方法が異なります。
CHARGE ランプが遅い点滅を繰り返す場合
充電が一時停止した待機状態になっています。
室温が充電に適した温度範囲外のとき、自動的に充電が一時停止されま
す。
充電に適切な温度の範囲内に戻ると、
CHARGE ランプが点灯し充電が
再開されます。
バッテリーの充電は、周囲温度が
10 ℃∼ 30 ℃の環境で行うことをおす
すめします。
CHARGE ランプが速い点滅を繰り返す場合
以下のような場合、 1 度目の充電では CHARGE ランプが速い点滅に
なる場合があります。
その場合は
1 度バッテリーをバッテリーチャージャーからはずし、
再度充電を行ってください。

長期間バッテリーを放置した場合
 長期間バッテリーをカメラ本体に取り付けたまま放置した場合
 お買い上げ直後
それでも速い点滅になる場合は、以下の手順に従って確認してくださ
い。
充電中のバッテリーを取りはずし、もう 1 度、同じバッテリーを確
実に取り付けてください。
点灯後、再び点滅しなかった場合
充電時間が過ぎて
CHARGE ランプ
が消えていれば、異常はありませ
ん。
再び点滅した場合
別のバッテリーを取り付け
てください。
点灯後、再び点滅しなかった場合
充電時間が過ぎて
CHARGE ランプ
が消えていれば、はじめに取り付
けたバッテリーに異常があると思
われます。

Where not to place this unit
Do not place this unit in any of the following locations, whether it is in
use or in storage. Doing so may lead to a malfunction.
In direct sunlight such as on dashboards or near heating apparatus, as ˎ
this unit may become deformed or malfunction
Where there is excessive vibration ˎ
Where there is strong electromagnetism or radiant rays ˎ
Where there is excessive sand ˎ
In locations such as the seashore and other sandy areas or where dust
clouds occur, protect this unit from sand and dust. There is a risk of
malfunction.
Precautions on Use
Attach the battery pack firmly to this unit when charging the battery ˎ
pack.
To protect the battery pack, remove it from this unit when charging is ˎ
completed.
Do not drop or apply mechanical shock to this unit. ˎ
Keep this unit away from TVs or AM receivers. ˎ
Noise from this unit may enter a TV or radio if placed nearby.
Unplug this unit from the wall outlet (wall socket) after use. Hold this ˎ
unit when you unplug it from the wall outlet (wall socket).
Be sure that nothing metallic comes into contact with the metal parts of ˎ
this unit. If it does, a short may occur and this unit may be damaged.
Do not connect this unit to a voltage adaptor (travel converter) for ˎ
overseas travel. This may result in overheating or another malfunction.
The battery pack and this unit can become warm during or immediately ˎ
after recharging.
Maintenance
If this unit gets dirty, wipe it using a soft dry cloth. ˎ
If this unit gets very dirty, wipe it using a cloth with a little neutral ˎ
solvent added, and then wipe it dry.
Do not use thinners, benzine, alcohol, etc., as they will damage the ˎ
surface of this unit.
When you use a chemical cleaning cloth, refer to its instruction manual. ˎ
Using a volatile solvent such as an insecticide or keeping this unit ˎ
in contact with a rubber or vinyl product for a long time may cause
deterioration or damage to this unit.
To Charge the Battery Pack
1 Attach the battery pack.
Keeping the battery mark  in the same direction as the charger mark
, insert the battery pack until it clicks into place. (See illustration
).
2 Pull the power plug up, and then connect it to a wall outlet
(wall socket).
Always connect the power plug with the prongs at the top (See
illustration ).
Do not connect the power plug with the prongs at the bottom (See
illustration ).
The CHARGE lamp (orange) lights up and charging begins.
When the CHARGE lamp goes out, normal charging is completed
(Normal charge).
For a full charge, which allows you to use the battery pack longer than
usual, leave the battery pack in place for approximately another one
hour (Full charge).
To remove the battery pack
Remove the battery pack by sliding it in the opposite direction to when
you attached it.

The charging time may differ depending on the condition of the battery ˎ
pack or the ambient temperature.
The times shown are for charging an empty battery pack, which ˎ
has been run down with a camera, using this unit at an ambient
temperature of 25 °C (77 °F).
Charging temperature
The temperature range for charging is 0 °C to 40 °C (32 °F to 104 °F).
For maximum battery efficiency, the recommended temperature range
when charging is 10 °C to 30 °C (50 °F to 86 °F).
To use the battery pack quickly
You can remove the battery pack from this unit and use it even if charging
is not completed. However, the charging time affects the time that the
battery pack can be used.
Notes
If the CHARGE lamp does not light up, check if the battery pack is ˎ
firmly attached to this unit.
When a fully charged battery pack is installed, the CHARGE lamp ˎ
lights up once and then goes out.
A battery pack that has not been used for a long time may take longer ˎ
than usual to charge.
The charged battery pack gradually discharges even if you do not use ˎ
it. Charge the battery pack before use to avoid missing any recording
opportunities.
This unit supports worldwide voltages 100 V to 240 V.
Do not use an electronic voltage transformer, as this may cause a
malfunction.
Troubleshooting
When the CHARGE lamp blinks, check through the following chart.
The CHARGE lamp blinks in two ways.
Blinks slowly: Turns on and off repeatedly every 1.5 seconds
Blinks quickly: Turns on and off repeatedly every 0.15 seconds
The action to be taken depends on the way the CHARGE lamp blinks.
When the CHARGE lamp keeps blinking slowly
Charging is pausing. This unit is in the standby state.
If the room temperature is out of the appropriate temperature range,
charging stops automatically.
When the room temperature returns to the appropriate range, the
CHARGE lamp lights up and charging restarts.
We recommend charging the battery pack at 10 °C to 30 °C (50 °F to
86 °F).
When the CHARGE lamp keeps blinking quickly
When charging the battery pack for the first time in one of the
following situations, the CHARGE lamp may blink quickly.
If this happens, remove the battery pack from this unit, reattach it and
charge it again.
 When the battery pack is left for a long time
 When the battery pack is left installed in the camera for a long time
 Immediately after purchase
If the CHARGE lamp keeps blinking quickly, check through the following
chart.
Please contact your nearest Sony dealer in connection with the product that may
have a problem.
Remove the battery pack that is being charged and then firmly attach the same
battery pack again.
The CHARGE lamp blinks again:
Install another battery pack.
The CHARGE lamp lights up and
does not blink again:
If the CHARGE lamp goes out
because the charging time has
passed, there is no problem.
