Malco BEAST Handle Replacement - Manuel

1. Locate the silver colored rivet on the collar where the old handle attached
to the head. Notice that one end of the rivet is big and round, and the other
end has been flattened.
Trouver le rivet argenté, sur le collet par lequel le vieux manche est fixé à
l’outil. Ce rivet a une tête ronde et bombée et, à l’autre extrémité, sa tige est
aplatie.

2. Using a hacksaw or grinder, cut off the larger rounded end of the rivet.
The flattened end of the rivet is much more difficult to remove.

L’extrémité aplatie serait beaucoup plus difficile à enlever.

3. Using the supplied bolt or a punch, drive the old rivet out of the hole with a
hammer.
Avec le boulon fourni ou un poinçon et un marteau, chasser le vieux rivet
hors du trou.
Empuje con el perno incluido, o con un punzón y un martillo, el remache
viejo hasta que salga del agujero.
4. Using a long flat screwdriver, drive the remnant of the old handle out of the
collar. Make sure you drive it the opposite direction of how it was originally
inserted.
Avec un long tournevis à lame plate, chasser le reste du vieux manche hors du
collet. Le chasser dans le sens opposé à celui où il a été inséré.
Saque con un desarmador de punta plana el pedazo de mango que haya
quedado en el cuello de la herramienta. Tiene que sacarlo en dirección
contraria a la dirección en que originalmente se insertó.
5. Insert the new handle into the collar. Run nut and bolt through the hole
and tighten.
Insérer le nouveau manche dans le collet. Mettre le boulon dans le trou,
visser l’écrou et le serrer.
Inserte el nuevo mango en el cuello de la herramienta. Pase el perno por
el agujero y apriete bien con la tuerca.
