FABRIC REPAIRS

COGHLAN’S SEAM SEAL

DIRECTIONS: Work in a fully
ventilated area. Wipe surface
with alcohol before applying.
Apply small beads of Seam Seal
along seams or other areas.
Apply to the coated side of the
fabric, on the inside of the seam.
Spread a thin layer evenly into
stitch holes and fabric joints.
Several thin layers will work
better than one thick layer.
Allow 4 - 6 hours to dry. Always
apply to a small test area first as
results may vary depending on
the finish of the synthetic fabric.

RIPSTOP NYLON PATCHES

DIRECTIONS: Cut piece of Ripstop Nylon material large
enough to overlap injury ½” to 1” (1.2 cm to 2.5 cm). Remove
adhesive backing from Nylon patch and center over injury.
Press down firmly with
thumbs or edge of coin
to drive out trapped air.

NYLON MESH, THREAD AND NEEDLE

DIRECTIONS: The nylon mesh is intended to repair small holes
or tears in your tent material or window screen. Cut nylon mesh
large enough to overlap tear by at least 1.5” (4 cm) on all sides.
Round corners of mesh with scissors. Use needle and thread
provided to sew torn material to mesh. For best appearance
apply mesh to inside of tent.

TENT POLE REPAIRS

TENT POLE SLEEVES

DIRECTIONS: Slip the pole repair sleeve over one pole
end. Slide the sleeve along until it is centred over the break
in the pole, then wrap it into place with duct tape.
