85700 – Polaris Ranger Front 2” Receiver Hitch
Hitch Use:
• The 2” Receiver hitch is designed to allow you to quickly and easily mount and dismount the Dirt
Works Snow Plow system to the Front of your Polaris Ranger.
• It can also be used for any other heavy duty trailering needs.
Mounting Instructions:
1. Remove the 3 bolts that are used to secure the front skid plate to the frame.
2. Place the Kolpin 2” Receiver on the front skid plate of the Ranger and align the three slots with
the three holes that the hardware was just removed from.
3. Attach the hitch using the three OEM bolts that were just removed. Tighten Securely.
4. Drill holes in the skid plate using the Kolpin 2” Hitch as a reference.
5. Once holes are drilled, attach the hitch using the four - ½” bolts provided.
6. The backer plate should be place on the inside of the skid plate. Be sure that the hardware goes
through the hitch, then through the skid plate and then through the Backer plate.
7. Attach using the washers and nuts provided. Tighten securely.
8. The (3) 3/8” bolts are extra. These are provided should you need them for where the three
OEM bolts should be.
