Fitting Instructions

CARRYING CAPACITY:

Your cross bars come pre-assembled.

Ensure that side rails are clean
and free from dust and grease.
Straps are to be extended to
allow easy mounting of the
cross bars. (Fig 1)

Place the cross bars onto the
vehicle’s side rails (note side
rails may have a position
marking on them).
Gradually tighten bolts
alternating sides with the
security key ensuring straps
are properly engaged and even
tension is achieved. (Fig 2)
Reverse procedure to remove.

NOTICE: Cross Bars can cause wind noise. Remove cross bars when not in use.

Place Cross Bars on
the vehicle at the
recommended
positions shown along
the Rail Bars. ( Fig. 4)

Crossbar locking end caps may
be removed to access the
accessory T-slot channel. (Fig 3)
Service buffer strips may be
purchased should the buffers
need to be cut around
accessories.

REGULARLY CHECK THE TIGHTNESS OF LOCKING STRAPS.
Loads should be evenly distributed and secured

.

Check the function of all doors and sunroof before driving.

Any weight carried on the vehicle will adversely affect its handling particularly in cornering or in a cross wind and the vehicle

should therefore be driven with increased caution.

Please have lock core number or part numbers available.

Only use NON-STRETCH tie down straps.

A number of accessories for carrying special loads are available.

Ensure bars are parallel and straps are tightened against

the side rails. Perform a check by tugging on the cross bars.
