tion, depending on type and freshness of
the bread :

1-2

Very lightly toasted or to warm,

3

lightly toasted,

4-5

well toasted,

6

very well toasted or for frozen bread.

After several trial runs, you will quickly get
used to these adjustments. It is advisable to
turn down the adjustment button position if
you are not using the toaster to its full
extent (for example, just one slice).

3

Placing the slices of bread :

With the control knob in the UP position,
place the slices of bread in each slot.

1

Toasting the bread :

Slide down the control knob. Push down -
the control knob locks into the DOWN
position. The positioning basket grilles
adjust automatically depending on thick-
ness, and centre the slices between the hea-
ting elements, which then heat up.
NB : This electronic model only switches
ON in the DOWN position when the toaster
is connected.
Sound working could possibly be affected
in the long run by crumbs or dust inside the
toaster. Just slide the control knob up or
down several times to dislodge crumbs, and
then lock in DOWN position.

5

To stop toasting :

When the bread is toasted, the knob
unlocks and springs up automatically, the
toaster stops toasting and the slices of bread
pop up.

If you toast currant buns, take out the cur-
rants which might drop off, for these could
damage the toaster and lead to a short-cir-
cuit.

You can interrupt toasting at any time by
placing the adjustment button on the
STOP/EJECT position.

Warming buns and croissants, etc. :
