First AUTO SIZE : For your Graphical User interface viewing pleasure
use AUTO SIZE (See Page 13) when changing resolution modes or
making HORIZONTAL or VERTICAL SIZE* or POSITION adjustments

the first time. AUTO SIZE will automatically SIZE and POSITION the

image to fit the screen if the image is one of the factory pre-set

Reservation modes between 640 x 480 and 1,024 x 768 .

In resolutions under 1,024 x 768 the SIZE* and POSITION adjustments
are interactive. If the SIZE* or POSITION adjustment reaches it's
effective limit, the indicator bar will turn red. If this happens, select the
other adjustment and adjust it until the image becomes correct or you
again reach a limit where the indicator bar turns red. You may have to

repeat this procedure more than once to achieve the best image size

and position.

There will be some signal timings other than the preset modes that can

not be optimally adjusted. For example the 640 x 350 mode which will
size and center horizontally, however, it will only center vertically and
there will be black bands at the top and bottom of the image.

Do not use AUTO SIZE at the DOS prompt or DOS images. The AUTO

SIZE function does not work correctly in the DOS mode. DOS mode

images must be manually adjusted.

‘SIZE adjustments are only available in resolutions under 1,024 x 768

and FINETUNE adjustments only at 1,024 x 768 resolutions.
