Anti-Theft System
This unit is equipped with a removable face plate. By removing this face plate, the radio becomes to
tally inoperable. The security indicator will blink.
To Remove the Removable Face Plate
© Switch off the power.

[OPEN].
The removable face plate will be opened. Fig. 4)
@ Push the face plate to either the right or left, then pull it out toward you. Fig. 5)
Security Indicator
The security indicatori^ Fig. 7) blinks when the removable face plate is removed from the unit.
To Deactivate the Security Indicator
Press and hold
[SEL]
for more than 2 seconds when the power is on. “LED OFF” is displayed, and
the security indicator turns off. (default: LED ON)

Cautions:
When you want to remove the unit, the security indicator functions can be cancelled by the fol
lowing procedure.
• Install the removable face plate.
• Disconnect the power connector.
