Compact Disc Player Basics
Loading a Disc
® Press A (OPEN) to open the front panel.
(D Insert the disc.
(D Close the front panel by hand.
Notes:
• If the front panel is open with power OFF, only the PWR button is
functioned.
• If the front panel is open with power ON, only Disc insertion and A.
(OPEN) button are functioned.
Ejecting the Disc
Press ^ (OPEN) to open the front panel. Press ^ (OPEN) again to
eject the disc for removal, and close the front panel by hand, the previ­
ous mode of operation will be resumed.
Notes:
• If power is switched off before A (OPEN) is pressed, the disc will not
eject. Switch on the power again and press A (OPEN) twice to eject
the disc.
• The disc should always be removed from the unit when not in use.
Selecting a Track
• Press “TRACK^W” once to go to the next track. Press repeatedly to
step fonward through all the tracks
• Press “K4-^TRACK” once to play from the beginning of the track you
are listening to. Press twice to play the previous track.
• Press repeatedly to step backward through all the tracks.
Searching a Track
• Press and hold “TRACK^W” or ‘‘H*^TRACK” for more than a half sec­
ond to activate fast forward or reverse through a track.
• Release “TRACK^H” or "M^TRACK” to resume the normal CD play
from that position.
