on your purchase of the ObusForme ® Back Belt. When used
together with a complete back safety training program, your back
belt is designed to support your lower back and abdominal
muscles to help promote proper posture and good body mechanics
that help maintain a healthy back, reduce back pain, and prevent
back pain injuries due to lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, and
repetitive bending or twisting.
APPLYING YOUR BACK BELT
Helpful Hint: When applying your belt, try lying down to make sure your stomach is as
flat as possible.
1. Please refer to the diagram on the back of your back belt packaging.
2. Wear your back belt either on top of or under clothing.
3. If using a back belt with suspenders, slip them over your shoulders. The suspenders
allow your back belt to be worn unfastened when it’s not in use. If you do not require
the suspenders, you can easily remove them.
4. Detach the dual-elastic abdominal panels. Grasp each end of the mesh wrap.
Stretch and secure the right end across the left in a comfortable position on the hook
and loop closure. It should not be necessary to over stretch the mesh wrap beyond
the hook and loop closure.
5. Grasp each dual-elastic abdominal panel. Stretch and secure each panel in a
comfortable position on the hook and loop closure.
6. If using a back belt with suspenders, adjust the suspenders with the buckles.
Ensure a comfortable fit without tension.
7. The top edge of the back belt should be at or just below your navel. The back belt
should not be worn around the midsection of the stomach but should fit snug and
low over your hips.
Please Note: Do not rely on your back belt to become a substitute for good lifting,
bending, pulling, pushing, or twisting techniques.
Your back belt will not enable you to lift heavier amounts of weight. Do not subject
yourself to any risk by lifting more weight than you can handle.
Only wear your back belt if you are performing tasks where proper posture and good
body mechanics are an issue. Continuous wear may cause loss of muscle tone.
CARE FOR YOUR BACK BELT
To Clean:
• Hand wash with mild soap and cold water.
• Do not bleach.
• Lay flat to dry. Do not machine dry.

ObusForme guarantees that all ObusForme ®
products are free from defects in workmanship and
materials throughout the life of the original owner.
Any product found to be defective will be replaced
or repaired (at our option) without charge. Any
product that is no longer in production and/or
cannot be repaired will be replaced with a
comparable ObusForme
® product.
Purchaser must complete and return the Warranty
Registration within 30 days of purchase.
To obtain service under this warranty, please
contact our Customer Service Department for return
authorization. Once authorization is received,
please return the product to ObusForme at our
address below, together with proof of purchase and
prepaid return shipping costs.
Exclusions:
Shipping costs to and from ObusForme are the
responsibility of the owner.
This warranty applies to damages resulting from
manufacturer’s defects only. Normal wear and tear
resulting from natural aging of the product and
damages caused by accident, unreasonable use,
over inflation of lumbar support, where applicable,
negligence or any other cause not resulting from
the defects in materials and workmanship, are
excluded from this warranty.
This warranty is non-transferable. This warranty
gives you specific rights and you may also have
other rights which vary from province to province
and state to state.
