MOUNTING LOCATION
Frosted Globe All-Round Lights are designed for boats up to 39.4'
(12m). Position the light so its bulb is not less than one meter (39.4")
above sidelights. If replacing an existing pole light, replace with a
pole at least as long as the existing. Mount the light in a position that
will allow the light to shine 360-degrees, unobstructed. (Figure 1)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Fixed-Mount and Fold-Down Lights
1. Using the base as a template mark the mounting hole locations.

Drill pilot holes for #10 screws, and drill 1/4" (6.35 mm) wire
routing hole.

2. Clean any rough edges.
3. Apply caulk to the bottom of the base. Feed wires through the

wire routing hole and press base into place. Fasten with #10
screws. Do not over tighten.

Telescoping Light
1. Inspect mounting location for proper below-deck clearance.
2. Using the template provided, mark the location of the pole

opening and the mounting holes. (Figure 2)

3. Drill pilot holes for #10 screws and a 1" (2.54 cm) opening for

pole. Clean any rough edges.

4. Feed wires through 1" (2.54 cm) opening. Fully insert the light

pole and check for proper below-deck clearance. Remove pole.

5. Apply caulk to the bottom of base. Align the base over mounting

holes and press into place. Insert #10 screws. Do not tighten.

6. Re-insert light pole. Ensure that it slides up and down easily and

locks properly. Also ensure that enough wire is provided to allow
full movement of light pole.

7. Tighten mounting screws. Do not over tighten.

WIRING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Using an Attwood Three Position Switch (#7594):

a. Splice fuse holder and 1-amp fuse into a length of 18-gauge

wire and connect to the battery terminal on switch and the
positive terminal on battery.

b. Connect the grey wire from the all-round light to one switch

terminal, and the grey wire from the sidelights to the other
switch terminal.

c. Connect the black wires to negative ground.

2. Pull switch and check for proper operation. The first switch position

turns on all-round lights and sidelights. The second position turns
on the all-round light only, for use when boat is at anchor. If lights do
not operate in this order, reverse the last two terminal connections.

3. Finish electrical connections with marine grade wire connectors

and tape securely.

4. Adjust pole to vertical position on fold-down all-round light and

tighten adjustment knob, or adjust telescoping all-round light to
maximum height and tighten locking knob.

REPLACEMENT PARTS:
