Care and Cleaning
This product contains no user serviceable parts. Refer service to qualified
service personnel.
CLEANING
1. Before cleaning, turn off and unplug the appliance.
2. Lift the jar by the handle off the power base.
3. Remove jar base by turning it counterclockwise until loose.
4. Remove the gasket and the blade assembly.
Caution: Blades are sharp, handle carefully.
5. Remove lid and lid cap.
6. Wash removable parts by hand or in the dishwasher. Place the jar on
the bottom rack and the rest of the parts on the top rack only.
Helpful Tip:
• For quick cleanup, combine 1 cup hot water and a drop of liquid dish
soap in the blender jar.
• Cover and blend on CLEAN (7) for about 30 seconds.
• Discard liquid and rinse thoroughly.
Important:
• Do not place the jar parts in boiling liquids.
• Do not immerse the base in liquid. Wipe the unit base with a damp
cloth and dry thoroughly.
• Remove stubborn spots by rubbing with a damp cloth and nonabrasive
cleaner.
Note: If liquids spill onto the power base, wipe with a damp cloth and dry
thoroughly. Do not use rough scouring pads or cleansers on parts or finish.

BLENDER JAR ASSEMBL Y
1. Turn blender jar upside-do wn and place flat on count ertop or w ork
surf ace.
2. Put the gasket on top of the blade as sembly.
3. Place the blade assembl y with gasket in bott om opening of the jar,
with blades do wn.
4. Place jar base onto jar and rot ate clockwise until it is tight.
5. Turn assembl ed jar right-side-up.
6. Place lid with lid cap on bl ender jar .
7. Uncoil pow er cor d fr om st orage area under the base.
8. Place jar in unlock ed position on base and turn jar cl ockwise until jar
is in lock ed position on base.
9. Blender is no w ready for use.
READY TO USE
1. Mak e sur e applianc e is OFF (0).
2. Plac e foods to be bl ended int o jar .
3. Plac e lid on jar; make sure lid cap is in place.

Note: When in use, do not leav e bl ender unatt ended. When using har d
foods, such as ice, cheese, nuts and coff ee beans, keep one hand on the
lid to keep blender in plac e.
5. Sel ect the speed that best suits your desired task.
6. When blending thick mixtur es, such as smoothies, pow er drinks
and milkshakes pres s the PUlSE (P) button sever al times to begin
the blending proc ess. Pres s the PUlSE (P) button for no mor e than 5
sec onds at a time. This helps break up the ice.
7. Open the lid cap to add ingr edients whil e the blender is running, and
dr op ingr edients thr ough the opening.
Important: Do not remo ve the lid while the bl ender is running.
8. When finished, pr ess the PULSE/OFF (P/0) butt on. Mak e sur e blades
hav e compl etel y st opped bef ore attempting to remo ve the bl ender jar
fr om the base.
9. T o remo ve the jar, grasp the handl e, turn slightly count ercl ockwise to
unl ock position and lift up.
10. Remo ve the lid to pour.
11. Al ways unplug the applianc e when not in use.

BEAT 10 Blend pancake and waffle batter or mixes
Beat eggs for omelets and custards
