OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Insert UB20 blower into the Heater air inlet and plug the UB20 into the “Switched Power” receptacle. Ensure the

UB20 blower’s “ON” / “OFF” switch, located on the side of the UB20 is in the “ON” position.

2. Connect the Euramco Safety supplied regulator / hose assembly between the propane tank and the Heater gas

inlet.

3. Attach the UB20 Duct Canister or flexible duct to the Heater air outlet ring and fully extend.
4. Plug the HA01 or HA02 Heater into a 110VAC power source, or the HA03 into a 230VAC power source.
5. Install Optional Thermostat: If the temperature of the space to be heated needs to be regulated install the

optional thermostat and set to highest temperature. Note: The heater does not require the use of a thermostat
to support Heater operation.

6. Open valve on propane tank.
7. Toggle the Heater switch to the “ON” position.
8. After the Heater lights up, adjust the Thermostat Temperature Setting for the desired room temperature. The

red light on the Heater switch will cycle “ON” and “OFF” with the burner flame to regulate the room temperature.

9. Set the Heater control panel fan switch to the “ON” position if you want the UB20 blower to run continuously

during both thermostat “ON” and “OFF” cycles and after the heater switch has been turned off.

10. Set the Heater control panel fan switch to the “AUTO” position if you want the blower to cycle “ON” and “OFF”

with the demand for heat. When the Heater switch is turned “OFF” the fan will also turn off after the heater has
cooled down.

11. If the ignition of the flame fails or the red switch light on the control panel fails to light the cause is most likely

due to a loss of airflow, propane tank is empty, or the internal over temperature switch tripped. Examine system
and remove blockage, or fill tank as necessary. Wait for the Heater to purge for 30 to 90 seconds and attempt to
re-ignite the flame. If the Heater fails to re-ignite itself, toggle the heater switch to the “OFF” position. Unplug
the heater from its power source. Recheck all gas and electrical connection and proceed with step 4 above.

TURN-OFF PROCEDURES

1. SHUT OFF PROPANE AT TANK.
2. Toggle the Heater switch to the “OFF” position.
3. DO NOT UNPLUG POWER until the heater ON/OFF switch is OFF and heater has completed cool down cycle.

SAFETY FEATURE

Euramco Safety’s Inline Heater is equipped with a safety switch to shut down propane in-flow when flame is lost.
Heater will shut down, purge for 30-90 seconds depending on type of failure and proceed through 3 trials to re-ignite
and restart. After 3 failures to re-ignite and restart, heater will go into lock-out mode and will not re-start. In case of
lock-out
, operator must unplug the heater from its power source to re-boot the circuit and then proceed with
normal start up procedures.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

Do not disassemble Inline Heater for
maintenance reasons.

Clean inlet and outlet periodically to remove
accumulated dust or particles.

Clean with cloth, not pressure washer, using
commercially available biodegradable cleaning
solutions.
