NO INSTALL FILE
• The Gracenote CDDB ® install CD-ROM is
not inserted.
• There is no install file in the Gracenote
CDDB ® install CD-ROM.
VERIFY ERROR
When the unit verify installing, an error
occurred.
CANNOT UNINSTALL
The unit cannot erase the Gracenote CDDB ®
from the HDD.
Messages on Network Walkman
WALKMAN ERROR
• Communication between a Network
Walkman and the unit cannot be established.
• The unit cannot connect to the Network
Walkman.
t Make sure that the Network Walkman is
connected correctly.
t Reconnect the Network Walkman.
t If the problem persists, bring both this
unit and the Network Walkman to the
local authorized Sony service facility.
WALKMAN REMOVED
The Network Walkman was disconnected
while the unit was accessing it.
NOT COMPATIBLE
Formatting or Check-Out has been attempted,
however, the connected Network Walkman is
not of the model this unit supports.
Messages on “MG Memory Stick”/
Network Walkman
CANNOT CHECKOUT
• The selected track has already been
Checked-Out up to the Check-out count
limit.
• The selected track cannot be Checked-out.
CANNOT MOVEOUT
The selected track cannot be Moved-Out.
CANNOT CHECKIN
The selected track cannot be Checked-In.
CANNOT MOVEIN
The selected track cannot be Moved-In.
CANNOT IMPORT
The selected track cannot be imported.
NO MEMORY SPACE
The “Memory Stick” is full.
t Erase unnecessary data from the “Memory
Stick”.
INVALID STICK
Check-Out has been attempted, however, the
inserted “Memory Stick” is not equipped with
“MagicGate” copyright protection technology.
t Use an “MG Memory Stick.”
STICK LOCKED
The erasure prevention switch on the
“Memory stick” is set to LOCK.
t Set the erasure prevention switch to OFF
when formatting a “Memory Stick” or
editing data on it.
STICK REMOVED
The “Memory Stick” was removed while the
unit was accessing it.
NO MEDIA
• A “Memory Stick” is not inserted when you
attempt to Check-Out a track.
• A Network Walkman is not connected when
you attempt to Check-Out a track.

MEMORY FULL
The number of preset radio stations has
reached the limit.
t Erase unnecessary preset stations.
