La unidad necesita un accesorio macho roscado para tubos de ½” que sobresalga entre ½” y ¹³⁄ 16 ” de la

Para un accesorio para tubos que sobresalga entre ½” y
5 ⁄ 8 ” de la superficie de la pared, siga las etapas 1, 2a
y 3. Para un accesorio para tubos que sobresalga entre ¹¹⁄ 16 ” y ¹³⁄ 16 ” de la pared, siga las etapas 1, 2b y 3.
1) Selle la pared en torno a la boquilla roscada con un sellante impermeable.
2a) Cuando la boquilla roscada de alimentación sobresalga entre ½” y
5 ⁄ 8 ” de la pared acabada:
Envuelva la boquilla roscada con varias capas de cinta de Teflon de buena calidad y, a continuación, ponga el
empaque negro sobre la boquilla roscada y contra la pared.
2b) Cuando la boquilla roscada de alimentación sobresalga entre 11 ⁄ 16 ” y 13 ⁄ 16 ” de la pared acabada, use la
arandela de separación provista de la siguiente manera:
Ponga la arandela de separación sobre la boquilla roscada.
3) Enrosque el codo en la boquilla roscada y compruebe si hay fugas.
4) Ponga la cubierta por encima del codo y encájela en el empaque.
The unit requires a ½" male threaded pipe fitting extending between ½" and
¹³⁄
16 " outside the surfaced of the finished wall.
For a pipe fitting extending ½" to 5 ⁄ 8 " from the outside wall surface, follow steps
1, 2a & 3. For a pipe fitting extending between ¹¹⁄ 16 " to ¹³⁄ 16 " from the outside
wall, follow steps 1, 2b and 3.
1) Seal the wall around the nipple with waterproof sealant.
2a) When supply nipple projects ½" -
5 ⁄ 8 " from finished wall:
wrap the nipple with several layers of good quality Teflon tape, then place the
black gasket over the nipple and against the wall.
2b) When supply nipple projects 11 ⁄ 16 " - 13 ⁄ 16 " from finished wall, use the Spacing
Washer provided as follows:
place the Spacing Washer over the nipple.
3) Screw the elbow onto the nipple and test for leaking.
4) Slide the cover over the elbow and snap into place over the gasket.

1) Appliquer un enduit d’étanchéité autour du mamelon.
2a) Mamelon d’alimentation sortant du mur fini de ½ po à
5 ⁄ 8 po (1,27 cm à 1,59
cm) :
Enrouler le mamelon de plusieurs couches de ruban de téflon de bonne qualité,
puis insérer le joint statique noir en l’appuyant contre le mur.
2b) Mamelon d’alimentation sortant du mur fini de 11 ⁄ 16 po à 13 ⁄ 16 po (1,75 cm à 2,06
cm) : utiliser la rondelle intermédiaire fournie comme suit :
Fixer la rondelle intermédiaire sur le mamelon.
3) Visser le coude au mamelon et vérifi er qu’il n’y a pas de fuite.
4) Emboîter le couvercle sur le coude par-dessus le joint statique
