OMNISMART ™ HG
Line-Interactive UPS Systems with
Hospital-Grade Plug and Receptacles
(120V)
The OmniSmart HG UPS systems described in this addendum have the same features and
controls as the OmniSmart and OmniPro UPS systems described in the accompanying
owner’s manual with the exception of the information listed below.
Hospital Grade Plug & Receptacles: OmniSmart HG UPS systems comply with UL
1778 standards. These UPS systems feature high-impact resistant thermoplastic hospital-
grade plugs and receptacles. The superior quality of the plugs’ blades and higher retention
force of the receptacles are designed to reduce the risk of accidental disconnection.
Warning: Tripp Lite does not recommend the use of any of its UPS Systems in any life
support applications in which a malfunction or failure of a Tripp Lite UPS System could
cause failure or significantly alter the performance of a life-support device.
