recorded on tracks 7 and 8 just as you hear it. It is best to record at as high a
level as possible without allowing the sound to distort.
13. Press [IN 17-24/FX RTN (MUTE)]. [IN 17-24/FX RTN (MUTE)] indicator
will light, faders become the adjusting levels for Input Mixer channel 17–24
and effect 1–8.
14. Raise and lower FX1RTN fader, to adjust the effect return level. At this
time, the sound that you are monitoring will be record to tracks 7 and 8
exactly as you hear it.

15. When you finish adjusting the
volume, press [STOP]. The
project playback will stop.
16. Press [TR 1-16 (MASTER
EDIT)] .
[TR 1-16 (MASTER EDIT)]
indicator will light, [CH EDIT]
become the channel edit buttons
for Track Mixer channels 1–16.
17. Press [CH EDIT] for one of the
track channels you wish to
record (whether left or right
does not matter). For this
example, press the track channel
7 [CH EDIT]. Mixer Condition
screen will appear.
18. Use [ ][ ][ ][ ] to
move the cursor to the “ChLink.”
19. Use the TIME/VALUE dial to change the ChLink parameter to set “On.”
The mixer parameters of tracks 7 and 8 will be linked, and pan will be
placed at left for track 7, and at right for track 8 (stereo channel).
20. Press [HOME (DISPLAY)]. Home Condition screen will appear.
