12. Raise and lower the channel fader 16, and verify that the volume changes.

The Input Mixer channel fader is used to make fine adjustments to the
recording level. In order to record with optimal audio quality, the fader
should normally be set in the 0 dB position.

13. Press [TR 1-16 (MASTER EDIT)].

[TR 1-16 (MASTER EDIT)]

indicator will light, channel fader will adjust

the Track Mixer channel level 1–16.

14. Hold [REC] and press [TRACK STATUS] of

the track that you wish to record. For this
example, hold [REC] and Track Mixer
channel 1 [TRACK STATUS]. Track 1 will be recording track, and
[TRACK STATUS]

indicator will blink red.

15. As described in “Recording On a Track (p. 36)” step 6–9, specify which

you wish to assign as the source. For this example, Input Mixer channel 16
is assigned to the recording track 1.
