Clone Box Use
The clone box uploads (LEARN) the settings of
one television and downloads (TEACH) them to
other televisions. This places the television into
Hotel Mode.
Note: The Clone Box is not supplied with the set. It can be
purchased separately.
Setting the “Master” Television
The features listed in the HOTEL Mode table
must be adjusted before cloning can begin.
1. Turn the television ON.
2. Access the Main Menu by pressing the ACTION button.
3. Access the Set Up menu.

Use the CH and VOL buttons to highlight the Set
Up icon, then press the ACTION button.
• Use the CH buttons to highlight AUTO PROG (Auto
Channel Programming), then press the VOL button
to begin programming.
Note: This step is mandatory.
• If necessary, use MANUAL PROG (Manual
Channel Programming) to delete any undesired
channels.
• Press the ACTION button to return to the Main
Menu.
4. If necessary, access the Picture menu.
• Use the CH and VOL buttons to highlight the
Picture icon, then press the ACTION button.
• Use the CH buttons to highlight a feature, then
press the VOL buttons to adjust them.
• Press the ACTION button to return to the M ain
Menu.
5. If desired, access the CHANNELS menu.
• Use the CH and VOL buttons to highlight
CHANNELS icon, then press the ACTION button.
• Highlight MANUAL CAPTION and press VOL ".
• Use numeric keypad or Vol buttons to select
desired channels. Use the CH buttons to highlight
the character position, then press the VOL buttons
to select characters for the channel caption.
• Press the ACTION button to return to the Main
Menu.
6. If desired, access the SET UP menu to set the
Energy Management feature. This feature lets you
program the television to turn OFF after a pre-
determined period of time from the last keyed-in
instruction (pressing any buttons on the TV or on
the remote control) received by the television.
• Use the CH and VOL buttons to highlight the Setup
icon, then press the ACTION button.
• Use the CH buttons to highlight the Energy
Management feature.
• Press VOL ! or " button to select OFF or 1
through 15 Hours.
7. Exit the Main Menu by pressing the ACTION
button.
8. If necessary, set the maximum volume level.
9. If the hotel has hotel “barker” channel, tune the set
to the “barker” channel.
Note: Auto Power On feature setting, Audio settings and
Channels menu settings can also be cloned.
Utilisation de la boîte de
clonage
La boîte de clonage charge (LEARN) les
paramètres d’un téléviseur pour les télécharger
(TEACH) sur tous les autres téléviseurs. Cela
fait passer le téléviseur dans le mode hôtel.
Nota: La boîte de clonage est vendue séparément.
Paramétrage du téléviseur “Maître”
Les divers paramètres du tableau des
caractéristiques dans le mode HÔTEL doivent
avoir été définis pour en permettre le clonage.
1. Mettre le téléviseur en marche.
2. Appuyer sur la touche ACTION pour afficher le
menu principal.
3. Accéder au menu SET UP.
• Appuyer sur les touches CH et VOL pour mettre
l’icône SET UP en surbrillance, puis appuyer sur la
touche ACTION.
• Au moyen des touches CH, mettre PROG AUTO
en surbrillance, puis appuyer sur VOL pour lancer
la programmation.
Nota: Cette étape est obligatoire.
• Au besoin, faire appel à PROG MANUELLE pour
supprimer un ou plusieurs canaux.
• Appuyer sur la touche ACTION pour revenir au
menu principal.
4. Au besoin, ouvrir le menu PICTURE.
• Appuyer sur les touches CH et VOL pour mettre
l’icône PICTURE en surbrillance, puis appuyer sur
la touche ACTION.
• Utiliser les touches CH pour mettre un paramètre
en surbrillance, puis appuyer sur les touches VOL
pour les régler.
• Appuyer sur la touche ACTION pour revenir au
menu principal.
5. Au besoin, ouvrir le menu CHANNELS.
• Appuyer sur les touches CH et VOL pour mettre
l’icône CHANNELS en surbrillance, puis appuyer
sur la touche ACTION.
• Mettre SIGLE MANUEL en surbrillance et appuyer
VOL ".
• Utiliser les touches numériques ou les touches de
volume pour sélectionner les canaux voulus.
Utiliser les touches CH pour mettre la position du
caractère en surbrillance, puis appuyer sur les
touches VOL pour saisir les caractères du sigle.
• Appuyer sur la touche ACTION pour revenir au
menu principal.
6. Si désiré, utiliser le menu de la SET UP pour régler
l’économie d’énergie. Cette fonction coupe
automatiquement le contact sur le téléviseur après
une durée de non-utilisation déterminée. (Non-
utilisation veut dire aucune pression sur une
touche de la télécommande ou de l’appareil.)
• Appuyer sur les touches CH et VOL pour mettre
l’icône TIMER en surbrillance, puis appuyer sur la
touche ACTION.
• Utiliser les touches CH pour mettre ÉCONOMIE
D’ÉNERGIE en surbrillance.
• Appuyer sur la touche VOL ! ou " pour
sélectionner HF ou de 1 à 15 heures.
7. Appuyer sur ACTION pour quitter le menu
principal.
8. Au besoin, fixer le volume maximum.
9. Si l’hôtel possède un canal bonimenteur,
syntoniser le canal en question.
Nota: Les réglages audio, du menu canaux et de la mise en
contact automatique peuvent également être clonés.
